Is it more of a risk to get lipo on the back of your neck (buffalo hump)? Only a few doctors agreed to lipo this area for me.

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  Liposuction can safely be performed in the posterior neck area.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

Buffola hump liposuction is very safe to perform and technically not much more difficult than other areas.  However, diagnostic work up to rule out hormonal causes should be performed first.    Best of luck.

Pheonix2017.  The usual and customary treatment for Buffalo Hump Deformity is liposuction!  Not sure why you are seeing resistance. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!

Buffalo humo reduction is a very safe and effective procedure. It has no more risks that any other liposuction procedure in any other body area.

There is no additional risk in the "buffalo hump" area and this area can be improved with liposuction. 

 I am not sure why you meeting resistance, liposuction is a very effective method for removing a buffalo hump. Be sure you were talking to board-certified plastic surgeon, others who are not trained and Plastic Surgery may be uncomfortable perhaps. Best of luck!

there is no reason technically why liposuction cannot be done in this area. There are several medical problems that can cause this area to fill with fat. They should be investigated first. 

Sometimes the buffalo hump is difficult to liposuction, because it often is a more fibrous fatty tissue. Sometimes it requires a direct excision.
