Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. Liposuction can safely be performed in the posterior neck area. Make sure you specifically lookat before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgeryperformed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The mostimportant aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommendthat you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon whocan evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. We often perform liposuction in this area and get great results. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Buffola hump liposuction is very safe to perform and technically not much more difficult than other areas. However, diagnostic work up to rule out hormonal causes should be performed first. Best of luck.

I am not sure why you meeting resistance, liposuction is a very effective method for removing a buffalo hump. Be sure you were talking to board-certified plastic surgeon, others who are not trained and Plastic Surgery may be uncomfortable perhaps. Best of luck!
there is no reason technically why liposuction cannot be done in this area. There are several medical problems that can cause this area to fill with fat. They should be investigated first.
Sometimes the buffalo hump is difficult to liposuction, because it often is a more fibrous fatty tissue. Sometimes it requires a direct excision.
I'm not sure when you had your procedure. You may still have swelling which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding RF treatments (Venus Legacy, Exilis, Ultra, Vanquish) along with shock/vibration therapy Cellutone/z wave and hyperbaric oxygen and compression in order to...
It would be best to schedule an appointment with a board-certified plastic surgeon of your choice for an in-person examination. Based on the photo you seem to benefit from liposuction as it will get rid of the excess stubborn fats and has a low risk of complications. The recovery time is also...
Thank you for your questions. From what you are describing, I do not think this has anything to do with your liposuction procedure. I would bet this is from venous insufficiency. I would see your regular doctor or a vein specialist for an evaluation.Good luck!
