My first pregnancy at 15yo wreaked all the havoc on my body, having gained 60+ lb. I was always bigger chested since I was 13/14yo @ 32DD then, and was spilling out of a 36DDD+ with my first baby. Then proceeded to lose all the weight then gain it all back each and every baby following that. Needless to say i've never experienced nice perky small cute boobs in my life. I shrunk down to a 32D of purely excess skin, saggy pancakes after my 6th baby. I'm 28 and can finally say I am so happy with my little boobs!! Dr. Eberbach did an incredible job, and has been so amazing about the whole process. He is so kind and gentle and really wants to make sure you are thrilled with your results! Surgery day: went perfect, i didn't need the vicodin to calm down beforehand cause i was just so excited instead of nervous! Went back, fell asleep & woke up small! I was a little freaked out by my girls looking more like distant relatives than sisters straight out of surgery but they ensured me they would even out as the stitches loosen and they did! Healing went smoothely & i was shocked how easy recovery was! My scars look so good, thin clean lines, i love that! Definitely don't think twice, Dr. E is the best! Updated on 22 Jan 2024: Some clothes fun after the surgery! Have never been able to go strapless or braless in my life! This breast lift has been so freeing!
I had precancerous lesions and I kept having to have them frozen off at the Dermatologist. I was tired of having multiple brown spots on my face as those spots would heal. I felt like my Derm. wasn't so much worried about how I looked after getting rid of the pre-cancerous spots as she was about just getting rid of them. I knew a Croton Peel would remove these precancerous spots and as an added bonus remove some wrinkles. I am only 6 days after surgery and I am so incredibly happy with how I look so far I could just hug my doctor!! I knew it would help make me look younger but I can already see what a huge difference this is going to make to my face. Updated on 14 Nov 2023: I’m only on day six after my surgery but definitely wanted to post a a day by day recovery picture since I really had a hard time finding many like that. I am so happy I did it. I can already tell I’m going to be very happy. Updated on 15 Nov 2023: Today after a bath (I have NEVER washed my face after this procedure with anything more than gentle soap and my hands) the “granular texture” that basically is coming from my skin oozing as it heals has definitely started to smooth out. I still have skin as red as the devil but I can really see I’m getting closer to the finish line. Or at least to the point that I’ll be able to wear makeup and not scare people. Updated on 18 Nov 2023: Today is day 11 it was the first day I have worn make up since the procedure. I still had some areas of scabbing and some scaly areas but other than that it was ok. Very happy so far! I know that my skin will continue to generate more collagen, smooth out and the redness will fade and only get even better than it is now. As it is now, its nothing short of a miracle in my opinion. Updated on 26 Nov 2023: Still peeling and my face is still pretty blotchy and very red but with some areas that look completely heeled. I'll post more pictures in a few weeks after the peeling and redness are over. I plan on using Retin A after I heel to keep my results looking like it is. Updated on 14 Apr 2024: I still can’t get over the before and after of my skin. Especially around the mouth. This after picture is four months after the procedure. I have started using RetinA to preserve the work I have had done.
I waited over a year before I posted for total effects & true outcome! Keeping my normal diet, I am EXTREMELY happy!!! Two kids, one natural, second C-section and a ruined stomach. No, absolutely no, normalcies to either with getting a stomach back to normal before either. Tried so many things, coolscupting & diet & exercise. No luck!! Love some of those ladies that have ZERO issues!! Me not the case!! Dr. E, AWESOME!!! I am 50 and have a nice TIGHT stomach back, prior to kids!! Not only that- he repaired my stomach muscles and I NO longer have back pain that I have been dealing with for over 14 years!!!!! Was taking meds for back pain and after this surgery. No longer need those meds daily!! ***** note the first couple of days was NO walk in the park for me, but totally worth every pain and penny!!!! See my pictures for truth!!
Pure talent!!! I had a mommy makeover with Dr. E and could not be happier. I was so nervous to have this procedure but so thrilled that I went through with it. He has a special ability that I would recommend 100%!!
Today was my first day. I had surgery this morning at 7am. Now after sleeping most of the day I’m up, alert and awake. I have very little pain. (I am taking my pain meds) The only time it hurts is when I get up to do my walking. I don’t have drain tubes and I feel I have very little bruising. I can’t get over how good I feel considering all that I had done. Breast Implant removal and new ones placed, tummy tuck, and flank liposuction. I go back in August for my thigh liposuction. Updated on 12 May 2022: Some of the swelling is already evening out. Today was actually the most painful so far. I think I was still a little goofy from the anesthesia. Helping to dull the pain. I can’t wait until I can stand up straight. I’m so happy already with the results so far! Updated on 13 May 2022: 3 days after surgery I am able to move more. I am going to be happy when I can stand straight though.I was told I could leave the binder off but after reading others I have decided to leave it on. I don’t have any drains but I do have some uneven swelling and read the binder will help even that out. Updated on 14 May 2022: Already my swelling is evening out. They told me I didn’t have to wear my binder but everything I’ve read says I should wear it. So I am wearing it. Still cannot stand up straight. I will only up date weekly from now or unless it’s something I think should be added but overall I very pleased so far. Updated on 15 May 2022: Looks better every day and slowly I am physically feeling better. Im surprised I look as good as I do so soon after the surgery. Definitely once the extreme tightness goes away everything will be a lot better. It’s not so much painful as it is annoying that you can’t stand upright. Updated on 28 May 2022: I’m still having lower abdominal swelling but I haven’t cut back on my salt like I should have. I had implants before and I would hoped when they replaced them that the capsular contracture that I have would go away but unfortunately it hasn’t. Updated on 29 May 2022: My before and my 2 week 5 day picture. My swelling has finally started to go down. I still have swelling but nowhere near what it was before. I am very happy with my results so far. I cant wait until my liposuction on my thighs to finish my makeover. Updated on 14 Jun 2022: Still having a little lower abdomen swelling and think it’ll last for a while because it still hurts pretty bad when I sneeze. So definitely not 100 percent. I still go to the store and run around with no problem. Still can’t wait for my liposuction on my thighs in August. Updated on 16 Jun 2022: I feel great and the majority of my swelling is gone. I love how it turned out. My bellybutton was my biggest worry and it’s beautiful. Updated on 18 Jun 2022: I have to admit I hate wearing compression anything. I found that the high waisted compression leggings work out the best for me. Much better than a waist trainer. I wasnt very good at aligning the velcro ends evenly anyway. Updated on 10 Jul 2022: So here is my bellybutton. I am so pleased with how this turned out and I know I’ll love it even more after the redness of the scar fades. I have seen horrible bellybuttons from other plastic surgeons. This was my main reason for choosing Dr. Eberbach. Also know your Dr. cannot move your bellybutton with a regular tummy tuck. It is where it is. They have to keep it there. They can only attach your skin to where it currently is. So if you don’t like where it is I think that would be something you need to talk to your Dr. about. Maybe they can move it but I think the surgery would be much more extensive.
After many years of looking at reviews and sorting through photos and doctors…. I’ve finally settled into Dr E in the greater Tampa area. I liked the fact that once he found out I had settled into choosing him, he then had to decide if I was a good candidate to receive his work. Thankfully, I am. We’re scheduled for lipo, drain less tummy tuck and mm repair on March 24th. I’ll update with photos and info as I go. Updated on 10 Mar 2022: I’m absolutely ecstatic to start my process counting down the moments. I was reading a Facebook post last night looking for local surgeons and everyone was commenting on Dr. Eberbach being the best! I knew I did a lot of research over the last few years but that was the confirmation I was looking for. Tomorrow I go in to all my testing and that’s the last little bit besides eating super fresh & getting all the little things that I need and preparing my home for a recovery! At this point I’m starting to get nervous, but I know all the healthy choices I’ve made along the way getting massaged eating right quitting anything unhealthy for me… It’s all going to be worth it when I see my sexy tummy back after all these years.!!! I’m actually very thankful for the strict rules around surgery because it’s made me take a look at myself, make sure you’re doing and being the right kind of person NO SMOKING, no drinking no unhealthy choices even with food because this process body mind and soul is a huge one to step into. 15 plus year wait!!! Updated on 9 Apr 2022: The procedure was effortless on my part, I even thought it funny to bring in a string bikini to see if we could work with the tiny tiny bottoms I wished to be in. So far so good, I’m 2 weeks post op. I wish I had better before photos but here’s sky after for now. I have a few stretch marks left over near the Incision site. I hope overtime they will fade, I believe they will as they were never so pronounced before. I have complete and total faith That my healing process will continue being effortless and in six months I’ll be reporting back with amazing pictures. Updated on 11 Apr 2022: Trying to figure out how to add photos!! 2 weeks, super swollen but as a mama I think it’s hard to avoid. I’m trying to do as Little as possible… getting there. I’m definitely swollen a lot but find that the brace is not as necessary as I had thought. Spanks are! I am drinking one coffee in the morning then water water water Updated on 11 Apr 2022: I must say, I’m excited to see what’s coming in another month. I’m inspired to get to the gym. All in due time but this new tummy is such an amazing boost of a low esteem. I felt like an umpaloompa from dr Sues before. I’ll put a before pic up when my phone allows it. Updated on 16 Apr 2022: 3 weeks and time has been good to me. However, I’m super swollen today from by trying to do to much. Way to much. Happy day of Jesus, may you all be blessed! happy And waiting for more healing time to pass! Updated on 3 May 2022: I’m almost 6 weeks out And wanted to be sure by asking here if anyone else went through this kind of swelling? I’m about six weeks into my healing process. I look forward to the day I can see my tummy flat Updated on 20 May 2022: Still awaiting on the swelling to subside but even if I stay right here I’m worlds better. The office sent my before and agrees and wow!!! Super amazing and super happy!!! Now I just need to let go of the swelling and see my final results! Updated on 21 Jan 2024: So much happier. The swelling was the hardest part. I’m super thankful it’s over. My legs held a bit of weight for a while. This process isn’t for the faint of heart but so worth the end point.
Dr. Eberbach performed an implant exchange and tummy tuck on me, and he is truly a MIRACLE WORKER!! After nearly a year of researching, I found his work to be the very best -- the smoothest and most beautiful tummy tucks. He also did an implant exchange because after breastfeeding 4 kids, My implants had moved out of their space and created a "double bubble" look. He was able to release that and put something slightly larger in. Also, HE GAVE ME BACK MY BELLY BUTTON! His work is so precise and he is very honest and caring to all of his patients -- and very precise. His staff is also so WONDERFUL (sweet and informative) and great about returning calls and messages. I could not be happier! Jennifer was my coordinator and made sure I had answers for every one of my questions. My nurses were also very kind and accommodating.
Hit 50~ friend had it done and Dr. E did an amazing job. Booked this and a tummy tuck and I honestly could not believe how it turned out. Great surgeon. Great team and loved that they answered All my questions, particularly after my surgery. I felt like a total pain but they were there and did not ignore me after the fact!! Updated on 12 Feb 2022: Pics are of days after surgery- days 1-8. You can see how quick the healing process is. Painless and wish i had put them in my initial review!! If anyone is considering this process at all, make sure its a plastic surgeon that specializes in this!
I didn’t fully develop in the breast area as an adolescent - I had a minimal amount of breast tissue under the nipple and that was about it (hypoplasia). I have a smaller frame and am thin and so I never expected to have large breasts, but I did think that I’d end up a full A/small B like the other women in my family. However, the only time I ever filled in was with milk (and not much) during pregnancies and nursing. I really struggled through the whole “I want breasts” vs “I need to love my body the way it is” war in my mind for years. I do think it’s important to find peace with our bodies; however, I think this was part of that journey for me, and I needed to give myself some grace in that. Having others stories on RealSelf was so valuable to me - I could research on my own, but this site truly allowed me to have insight into others experiences and things I never would have thought to think of when preparing for my own procedure. I looked into multiple doctors in the Tampa area and chose Dr. Eberbach because I felt his experience and great reviews were worth looking into. I went to my consultation appointment uncertain if I would follow through with breast augmentation, but wanted to get some final numbers, as well as an idea of what I would look like post augmentation. I knew I wanted an extremely modest size increase (I really wanted to be a full A cup - fill my small bras without having to buy padded bras) and didn’t want to be talked into going larger. I was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Eberbach came into the room and agreed with me that what I wanted was the best choice for my body. He was very affirming, encouraging, yet realistic and direct. I appreciated that as I have heard and read many stories about people being talked into changing their original intentions and I knew that wasn’t right for me, personally. Everyone in the office was extremely courteous and helpful. I left the appointment uncertain of what I’d be doing, but not because of the office or doctor…I struggled with spending the amount of money I needed to in order to have the desired outcome I wanted. It was more than I thought it would be (however, after looking up many prices, I saw that he was very comparable and less than most competitors). After speaking with my husband later that day, we decided we would make it work. My consultation was in the beginning of November 2021 and my breast augmentation and nipple reduction surgery was scheduled for December 15th. All of the communication from the office was great, very clear and prompt. I had a great pre-op appointment, and got my medication all ready and all questions answered. The day of, I felt a little nervous, as expected, but also mostly at peace about it once I arrived at the office. My husband dropped me off. The nurse and staff were incredible. Everything was better than I expected. I woke up from the procedure, chatted with the nurse for a bit, and went home not long after. I did take pain pills for the first day and a half, but then, I switched over to just Tylenol. Most of my pain was discomfort and tightness in the chest area. My nipples were also sore, but I just tried to be as careful as I could to not touch them or rub them on anything. I ended up having 180cc on my left side and 200cc on my right side (was a teensy bit smaller there, if possible to be smaller lol). I can’t imagine how anyone can go up larger in size, as I felt SO uncomfortable for awhile, and they felt huge, though I knew they weren’t really. My smaller size dropped quickly and the discomfort subsided a lot faster..my right is still catching up there, but has softened up a lot. My post-op care was great as well. Wonderful communication and no issues. I did follow the low sodium and high protein diet recommended for the entire recovery time. I think that helped with the healing and swelling staying minimal. I was recently cleared at 6 weeks. Overall, it took some real getting used to this change in how things looked and felt, but I’m really happy. It seemed strange and embarrassing for me to want my outcome to look like some people’s before photographs, and still be somewhat a part of the IBTC, but I’ve always liked the look of smaller breasts (A/B) and would not have liked anything larger on my body. It just wouldn’t be me. I’m very grateful for Dr. Eberbach and his staff of very kind, compassionate and professional people for this transformation. It may not be huge, but it has been a dramatic and welcomed change for me! I have a whole new confidence and feel so relieved to actually fit into regular unpadded bras and have a little chest! Clothes fit and look a lot better! If you’re thinking about a smaller breast augmentation, and have any questions, please ask. I didn’t see many posts under 300cc, and when I did, I was so excited to have someone to relate to.
Love this Dr, he is amazing understanding, knowledgeable, honest and cares about you as a person and what best for you This is the only Dr I would go to for any plastic surgery His staff is also the best
Necrosis is caused by a lack of blood supply. The cause of this can be injury to blood vessels or more commonly excessive pressure or tension. The excessive tension can be caused by swelling or by inappropriate positioning, such as standing fully erect in the first several days to week. Pressure can be caused by a compression garment. Nicotine is the greatest overall danger since even in a low tension well vascularized flap, nicotine can kill the tissue. Ice can as well. The longest delay in necrosis developing I’ve seen is after a week of perfect healing when a patient decided to smoke a cigarette. It was devastating tissue turned dark overnight and took months to heal. Good luck
The solution is really straightforward. You need an abdominoplasty. Add some liposuction and you will get a great result. Good luck.
You asked a question about your implant and whether it had flipped. It does appear to have flipped over. That can usually be repositioned in the office without any surgery. Good luck.
This appears to be a constriction scar about your button. As you gained weight over time this deepens the button. Now you collect water and dirt skin debris. The fix is to open the button opening a bit. Local anesthesia in the office usually. Good luck.
I’m certain this is not something to do with the sex of the surgeon, but perhaps experience. To correct your lateral hip looseness would require going nearly 360°. It could stop short by a couple inches from the midline posteriorly. Anything less than this will leave a significant posterior Dog ear and not correct the lateral hip.
