I'm not sure when you had your procedure. You may still have swelling which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding RF treatments (Venus Legacy, Exilis, Ultra, Vanquish) along with shock/vibration therapy Cellutone/z wave and hyperbaric oxygen and compression in order to decrease swelling and improve results. You could also get an assessment with a VASER 4D Hi def physician to see if there are other options. Best, Dr. Emer
Lelu. Hard to tell from your photo, but if your abdominal liposuction was recent, your area of concern may be postop swelling, which will resolve in 4-6 months. If not, further lipo of that region should do the trick. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
Thank you for your question you can benefit from additional liposuction in the areas you mentioned always see a board certified PS.
Liposuction and Liposculpture are surgical procedures which remove unwanted areas of excess fatty tissues. The cause of your FUPA may be due to:1 normal swelling after your liposuction procedure2 Lack of liposuction of the suprapubic region with your liposuction procedureIf your procedure was within the last 6-12 weeks, swelling is playing a role in the localized fullness of the area. If the area was not included in the initial procedure, and the fullness persists beyond this time frame, it will likely need to be treated with at least a limited liposuction procedure.
The photo does not show much. If you have fatty tissue in the mons that was not treated, it likely can be treated once you have healed from your previous procedure.
It would be best to schedule an appointment with a board-certified plastic surgeon of your choice for an in-person examination. Based on the photo you seem to benefit from liposuction as it will get rid of the excess stubborn fats and has a low risk of complications. The recovery time is also...
Thank you for your questions. From what you are describing, I do not think this has anything to do with your liposuction procedure. I would bet this is from venous insufficiency. I would see your regular doctor or a vein specialist for an evaluation.Good luck!
Two weeks after surgery should be enough time to resume all preop meds, but you should ask your surgeon first. Good luck!
Thank you for asking about your pre-liposuction blood tests.Great question - it varies from surgeon to surgeon. At a minimum you will need a hemoglobin to be sure you are not anemic and a pregnancy test to be sure you are not pregnant. If you have health issues or your surgeon has an blood testing...
This area may require a combination of techniques depending upon how the area looks in photos or during exam.
Thank you for asking about your liposuction and compression garment. The purpose of the garment is to comfortably support you.A garment that is causing increasing pain and swelling should be either removed and replaced with a better one or else cut at every place where it is digging into youIt is...
