Thank you for your question, selenamandra. This home remedy will not remove excess fat. Kybella will. Kybella is the first and only FDA-approved injectable drug to contour and improve the jawline due to "double chin" neck fat and can provide tremendous results after a non-invasive treatment with little to no discomfort during its short recovery time. Please consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon.Best wishes,
Most likely you would create frostbite of the skin which could lead to unsightly scarring and other issues. The trick with the cool sculpting technique is that it can cause the frostbite to occur first in the fat while sparing the skin. This is easier said than done and can cause unwanted irregularities also.
I completely understand why you are asking this question. The problem with using ice is that it will kill your skin as well as the fat. Furthermore, the result would be uneven. The Coolsculpting idea works by controlling the temperature to a level that is safe for the skin, but will still kill the fat beneath it.I wish you luck!
Thank you for your question. To my knowledge keeping ice under your chin will not benefit you at all. There is a new product available that permanently removes fat under the chin without surgery. It is called Kybella. It is an injection that devolves the fat under the chin. It typically takes two injection sessions are required. I recommend you check and see if you are a candidate. I hope you find this information useful.
Although I do not perform Coolsculpting in my practice, this device involves cooling of fat in problem areas with the idea that some of the fat will die and be "flushed out" of your system. In carefully selected patients, it may provide a modest non-surgical fat reduction. Liposuction is much more reliable and more effective. Use of an ice cube is more likely to cause harm than good.
This will not work. You could potentially create problems in your skin by frostbite. Consult with a Facial Palstic Specialist in your area. Liposuction or non-surgical procedures can be offered with better safety.Hope this helps,Dr. Gus Diaz
Ice underneath the chin will only create frostbite, skin damage and necrosis. It will not affect the fat. Fatty deposits in the neck are usually removed with liposuction.
This will serve no purpose other than to make your chin very cold and potentially uncomfortable. It's possible to even give yourself frost burn by excessively cooling your skin. You have posted several times regarding this topic. There are only two or potentially three options. The gold standard is liposuction. The second is Kybella and the third one is cool sculpting.I don't believe" thing would be appropriate in your case. You may also want to consider posting a picture of yourself to get an idea if removing fat from your chin and neck is even The appropriate course of action should you choose to have some type of procedure.Better yet is to have an in person consultation with someone who can explain various options in more detail and give you a good assessment.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
This will not work. You could easily damage your skin with frostbite and scaring. See a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person exam.
Don't worry, you will be fine. Lumps and bumps seem to show up around 3 weeks after surgery and then hang around until 8-12 weeks on occasion. Try some warm compresses and a little light massage - it might help things improve faster.
There are a few ways to approach this that can help soften your facial features. Fat transfer is an excellent procedure that can add soft tissue volume and add dimensions to a "shapeless" face. You can improve your mid face by adding more volume to your anteromedial cheeks and the...
You likely need a VASER hi def procedure in the neck. You likely got improvement but if you want full jawline contouring consider a second treatment. You will get more definition and skin tightening. Go to an expert and someone who treats a lot of men. Best, Dr. Emer.
