Help! Super baby face. Chin implant, lipo? (Photo)

Question

I have a weak chin and a lot of extra bulk in the face. I'm not overweight and my mom has very chubby cheeks at the ripe age of 57. I think it is genetic. What can I do to achieve a more defined, well-balanced, and masculine face?

Certainly a combination of both submental (under the chin) lipo AND an extended anatomic chin implant would benefit you to balance your face.  The good news is that both of these can be performed under local anesthesia and would only require a small incision under your chin (less than an inch long).  The recovery period is only a few days, and some surgeons may require you to wear a compression garment to support your chin lipo for a few weeks post-procedure.  As an FYI, an extended anatomic chin implant is one where it fills out the tip/point of the chin as well as along the sides of the jawline.  This type of implant typically gives the most natural result. Please be sure your surgeon is Board Certified and performs these procedures on a regular basis.  Best of luck to you!

Based on your photos, I would say that you do appear to be a good candidate for liposuction under your chin and chin augmentation with an implant.  Both of these procedures should produce more balance and definition to your face.

Your lower jaw is small.  If you have a jaw advancement, proportionally your face will improve. Please see an  surgeon to have an xray and evaluation done.

From the profile view, a chin implant can give added horizontal projection to the chin to help with facial balance and proportions. Liposuction of the neck will remove the fatty deposits located there to help improve the jawline.
