Thank you for your pictures.  If your exam reveals "long face" imbalance then a upper and lower jaw surgery and genioplasty would be appropriate.  If an exam does not reveal this then a genioplasty with advancement and vertical reduction would be beneficial.

Jaw Angle Implant: Acute swelling randomly twice 6 months and 10 months post-op. Is this normal?

Recurrent swelling and resolution with antibiotics leads me to believe that you might have a low grade infection of the implant. Please see your plastic surgeon as soon as possible for an evaluation and recommendations.
