I would not recommend a facelift but I do recommend a necklift or possible liposuction of the neck. You need to be examined to see how much fat you have there.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Hello, hope you are well. I think you would do best with a short scar neck lift, alongside FaceTite and NeckTite. It is not apparent from the photos that you submitted that incisions around the ears and hairline (per traditional facelift techniques) for skin removal are necessary. However, neck and lower face contouring and skin tightening can be achieved with the procedures mentioned above with minimal downtime, risk, and visible scarring.Best,Dr. Tower
Thank you for your question and sharing your photographs.Because your jawline contour is relatively good and it is predominantly the visibility of the marionette lines that disrupts the aesthetic balance, you could consider just a deep plane neck lift intervention as it produces improvement of the the jawline and to a more limited extent for the marionette lines. If you are in favour of facelift intervention there is no particular reason against a deep plane facelift. It has a tendency to produce more consistent improvement for the marionette lines and jawline. The contouring effect however would make the contrast with the neck more significant and I would say that it is probably better to have either facelift and neck lift or just neck lift.I think just facelift would not be the best outcome for your situation. It is also fair to say that surgeons achieve good results for their patients with a variety of techniques both for the face and neck and a discussion in consultation and review of some of the past results is an important part of the decision process.
it appears that some improvement along the jawline-neck and mid-cheek areas may be considered. This can be achieved with an anterior neck lift and periorbital fat grafting. In-person or telemedicine consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon with expertise in these procedures is recommended. Good luck.
No you don't have enough laxity at this time to get a facelift. You would be better served with Chin/Neck Liposuction and Thermitight at the same time. Chin Liposuction and ThermitightChin liposuction helps reduce the bulge under the chin and can be done for the whole neck. Once the fat is removed the skin can become loose and saggy in some cases. It can be avoided by combining it with Thermitight which is a radiofrequency heat delivered under the skin to tighten it. Both chin liposuction and Thermitight can be done at the same time. The recovery is fast and it can be done under local anesthesia.Click on the video link belowRegardsDr. J
Thank you for your pictures and questions. I think the procedure that is best going to suite you depends on your expectations and goals. If you want the "wow" results with mid-face elevation, lifting, tightening, removal of deep neck tissue, etc., then you are 100% want to go with a deep-plane facelift and necklift. There is nothing that can substitute for this procedure when it comes to results. However, if you just have some smaller areas of concern (eyelids, submental, etc.), there might be options for less invasive or smaller procedures to meet your goals. There might even be some non-surgical treatments available to you if you have reasonable goals of modest improvement. Hope this helps! Make sure you see a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery to discuss your options!Dallas Buchanan, MDVIVIFY plastic surgeryTampa, FL
I think that it's more important to make your decision on the actual Surgeon as opposed to the type of procedure that you may want. In my practice, I perform deep plane facelifts because they are incredibly effective, long lasting, and offer a very natural appearance. I would add a buccal fat pad removal, which can easily be performed during the procedure, to address the fullness in your lower cheeks. A deep plane facelift combined with a deep necklift will give a very impressive contour to your neck, which endoscopic procedures will not.
Judging from your photos, it appears that you have a “heavier appearance” that could be improved with an endoscopic mid-face lift.I hope this helps, best of luck !
From the limited photographs, it appears that you do not have loose skin, and you're only 44 years of age. Consider a neck lift procedure to remove the fat deposits above your platysma muscle with liposuction, and surgical extraction of the fact about is below the muscle which also includes a platysma plasty to significantly improve your jawline. Skin removal is probably not required at your age
Based on in life posted photos I recommend mini face/neck lift with SMAS plication, sub mental liposuction, nano fat grafting to naso labial folds & temple hollows & tear troughs. Fee $10,000. Best to virtual consult with....
You could be a good candidate for an endoscopic mid-face lift and a Medialized corner lip lift. The Medialized corner lip lift is the only procedure that would correct vermillions that are rolled in. They are really safe procedures. Of course, a consultation is necessary to assess your skin...
Conducting an examination to assess skin laxity is a priority in facelift surgeries. I prefer performing a mini facelift primarily for the mid-face. For the lower face and jawline, a lower facelift is recommended. If there is significant sagging in the neck and submental area, I combine neck...
It is definitely time for a lower face/neck lift and be sure to get Morpheus/Chem peel at the same time to make the whole face, neck and chest look rejuvenated. Do it under local and see amazing safe results right away. A deep peel won't accomplish enough on its own.
