Dissolving fillers under the eyes after blepharoplasty

Question

I had lower blepharoplasty (mid-facelifting) 6 months ago. I was told there was a bit of filler still remaining and needed to be dissolved by hyaluronidase so my final result would be perfect (there's a bit of lump under eyes). Filler has been many years ago (like 7 yrs ago). My question is, will it have a side effect after the injection ? Am 52 y.o. I am worried it will left my under eyes wrinkled after the injection. :( thank you.

It is one of the frequent concerns as injectable filler treatments are very common and around the eyes they do seem to a very long time to disappear.

In general, hyaluronidase injections will not affect the surrounding tissues, but the presence of the filler for a period of time will have made the surrounding tissues accommodate its volume. This sometimes creates the impression that it was the hyaluronidase that produced the contour changes.

If the volume is more significant, you may notice a depression but probably not wrinkling in the skin. This can be corrected using that transfer or a more conservative amount of filler.

To understand what you're dealing with, it is possible to use an MRI scan but for the purpose of what you are describing it seems like an overkill.
