Will getting liposuction done on my hips and lower back help with the shape of my bottom? (Photo)

Question

I had smart lipo done on my outter thighs, waist, upper and lower stomach, back bra rolls and upper arms. The doctor talked me out of the hips he said I had a nice shape already. I'm about 6 weeks out from the stomach and waist proceedure and 4 weeks out from the arms and thighs. I am unhappy with my hips and feel that my lower half looks huge. Will getting lipo of my hips and lower back improve the shape of my butt?

I feel a lot more could have been done with regards to contouring, but it all depends on how much shaping and lifting you truly want.  The back, thighs, arms have more fat that can be removed and the hip/waist can be contoured much more.  Fat can also be used to reshape the buttock and improve cellulite. I suggest going to a true body shaping expert that does 4D hi def liposuction. Best, Dr. Emer.

It will take at least three months to see your results from your previous liposuction procedures. Once you see that, then I would reassess your hips and buttocks. I do think those areas can be improved with further procedures. Good luck!

Yes, liposuction of your hips and lower back can improve the shape of your buttocks. An experienced plastic surgeon can make significant changes to your buttock contour. Please wait another 6 - 8 weeks before deciding to have anything done. You need more time pass before you see the final result from your current procedures. I think that what would give you the best contour possible would be to have fat liposuctioned from some of your "problem areas" back, flanks, etc. and transferred to your buttocks.
