I am getting a breast augmentation done in March and was interested in getting liposuction as well. Upon researching it seems it is safer to preform liposuction under local anaesthesia as opposed to general, why is this and will the general anaesthesia from the breast augmentation cause a higher risk when the liposuction is performed? Also which procedure would be done first?

It is very safe to perform both procedures at the same time under general anesthesia. Answer: Liposuction/Breast Augmentation Combination -- DO VASER HI DEF I have done this procedure many times with myself and a plastic surgeon. I do HI def body contouring and the surgeon will do the lift/implant at the same time. If only fat transfer is needed I will perform that procedure. Answer: Lipo and breast augmentation Yes I do these two procedures all the time. Anesthesia selection is important. I would NEVER do general for these cases. Danger is in anesthesia. Proper sedation is the key. Excellent results and safe for both guaranteed in my hands.
