Dear KKmak,Thank you for your question.  Liposuction cost will vary on how many areas you wish to treat and what sort of technique is used.  Laser liposuction, where a laser is used to melt fat prior to extraction, generally costs more as it is a more complex technique that involves the use of a laser device.  I feel my patients have smoother results and much shorter recovery.  There is also the benefit of some skin tightening with the laser.Costs for a small area start at about $3500 and increase as larger and more areas are treated.Aloha,Shim Ching, MD

You can expect to pay about $1500 per area for liposuction. Patients with a high BMI can expect to pay a bit more and the type of anesthetic chosen will influence the final cost.
