If I am still numb after lipo does that mean I am still swollen ? are numbness and swelling linked ??

Calves and ankles can take longer to appreciate a "final" result,fluid can continue in your lower extremities, especially if you areon your feet for extended periods of time throughout the day.    You need to follow up with your surgeon. 

At 6 months, swelling should be gone but numbness could still
increase a little bit, I usually recommend to give it up to a year to return to
normal.Give it a little bit more time
and continue to follow up with your physician.

Hello and thank you for your question! Even though you are 5 months out from your surgery, it is possible that you are still experiencing some swelling. You can still wear your compression garment, that can help. And the numbness is a side effect from the liposuction. Any time you make incisions in the body, nerve endings are cut. You may or may not regain that feeling. As with any procedure, any concerns should be brought to the attention of your surgeon. Good luck to you for continued healing!
