Toxins and fillers
tend to get lumped together under the same ever-expanding ‘injectables’ umbrella, but they’re actually totally different materials. Toxins, which include Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, and Jeuveau, weaken muscle contractions to lessen the repetitive skin-folding that etches in fine lines over time. Fillers lend volume either by physically inflating a depleted space (temples, tear troughs), defining facial contours (cheekbones, jawline), or by stimulating the skin to make more of its own collagen.

The Real Reasons Women Get Breast Reductions
Pregnancy
and childbirth can lead to muscle damage, skin laxity, and unwanted fat that diet and exercise often cannot address. A 'mommy makeover' refers to a combination of surgeries performed together—typically, a tummy tuck, breast augmentation and/or lift, and liposuction—to restore and recontour the body. The ideal time to get a mommy makeover is at least six months after you've finished breastfeeding your last child, and when you're able to take off two to four weeks for recovery.

A liquid rhinoplasty
uses fillers to temporarily reshape the nose, giving it the appearance of a straighter bridge or more lifted tip—all in under 20 minutes, for about $1,000, and with no real downtime. Unlike a traditional rhinoplasty, which can permanently fix every imaginable nasal issue (cosmetic and functional), a liquid nose job can only obscure minor irregularities for a matter of months. Reversible hyaluronic acid fillers are your safest bet here—they can be dissolved if you don’t love your new look or if a complication arises. Since the nose is a high-risk area for filler—inadvertent injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue death and even blindness—seek out an experienced board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon.

The 2020 RealSelf Worth It Ranking is a comprehensive list of the year’s top-rated surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures. This ranking recognizes the Most Worth It procedures of the year, and is based on consumers’ Worth It Ratings.
The RealSelf Worth It Rating is a proprietary consumer satisfaction score based on reviews from consumers on RealSelf who, after undergoing a treatment, rate it as "Worth It" or "Not Worth It." While consumers have the option to select “Not Sure”, the RealSelf Worth It rating is calculated using only “Worth It” and “Not Worth It” ratings. Over time, members may change their Worth It Rating. When a “Not Sure” rating is changed to a “Worth It” or “Not Worth it” rating, it is included in the Worth It Rating algorithm.
A total of 15 nonsurgical and 37 surgical procedures earned a Most Worth It designation for 2020. While treatment Worth It Ratings in the 2020 Worth It Ranking are shown as rounded percentages, the actual ranking is determined by several decimal places.
To be recognized as a 2020 Most Worth It procedure, a treatment must meet the minimum review requirement of 50 reviews between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019, and have earned a cumulative Worth It Rating of 90% or higher during the same time period.
Eligibility Note: RealSelf reserves the right to disqualify brands from being recognized as a Most Worth It procedure if the medical or eligibility panel suspects and/or determines official company representatives or agents have attempted to influence reviews or ratings. This includes tampering with the process of collecting authentic, unbiased patient reviews as well as intentional or unintentional acts that violate the RealSelf Code of Conduct and/or Terms of Service. Exclusion from eligibility can be triggered by acts such as, but not limited to, representatives attempting to leave false reviews or coercing individuals to submit positive reviews, or other activities and/or events that call into question the safety of the procedure or negatively impact the reputation of the treatment or affiliated company.
