I got 1ml in each sides of my jaw and 1ml in my chin just over a day ago, (Juvederm) The procedure itself was very painful for me. The jaw filler was done by canulas. However now I have lumps and my jaw isnt a straight line (pictures). Is this normal? And will it go away? Its also still quite sore. It was administered by a registered practitioner by a well known company, so nothing dodgy hahah, Thank you!
I got dermal fillers (juvaderm 4) injected into my nasolabial folds yesterday. I've noticed that the area most filler (small lump) om the skin on top appear blanched (whiter) than the surrounding area. it is just next to the little red bruise. It also feels a lot 'tighter' in this area. Is the blanched skin due to skin necrosis? I went to an experienced filler and I don't have any pain apart from the area feeling a bit tighter. I can't feel the fillers on any of the other parts of my face.
I got a lip filler injection about 24 hours ago and immediately saw small purple spots above my lip, by my nose, spreading toward my nasolabial fold. This area was numb, which I figured was due to the numbing agent used prior to the injection. Now, as seen in the photo, I have redness spreading on only the right side of my face, with a burning pain right under my right nostril. I also feel pressure in this area. What is happening to my face? Could I possibly have vascular occlusion?
Yesterday I got lip fillers injected into my lips, they are quite swollen and bruised and I feel like they sort of look like the duck lips I didn't want. Is this just the swelling? Another concern I had was that since I got two syringes if the fillers will last longer?
I had a terrible initial reaction where I heavily bruised and bled during the procedures. The nurse didnt complete the full .5 vile as she wanted to make sure I was ok and couldnt tell what was swelling vs injection. Today the swelling has gone down but my upper lip is severely upturned and looks duck like with severe unevenness to the top lip. Is that swelling too? Or did she inject too high into the skin? When I smile my lip folds up.
Ive seen on many RealSelf post that doctors say to ice the area after fillers to make swelling go down. However, when I got my lips done today my injector told me to not ice the area, not even after 42 hours because this will cause the filler to travel. So I just want more opinions on if I could ice it or not, and if not can I have other suggestions to make swelling go away quicker?
I got a syringe of Juvaderm Ultra yesterday afternoon. Ive been icing it on and off since then and slept elevated last night. Ive had no bruising, but the swelling seems worse than from what Im seeing with others wove has the same treatment. It feels very stiff and I cant even lip my top lip! Will this cartoon duck bill go down or is this what I can expect the results to be? Im in freak out mode! The first pic was 10 mins after injections 2nd pic is today
