Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to see your bruising issue. Although rare, a significant bruise can develop after lip injections and should be evaluated by your injector to discuss options at helping it to heal faster. Reach out to yours for advice and to rule out any other issues. Best wishes.
Thankyou for your question. Lip injections have a high risk of bruising and you definitely have a bruise . Nothing to be concerned about. I would ice the lip on and off for the next few days. This will help the bruise settle faster. hope this helps
Hello, thank you for the photo. It looks like you just have severe bruising post lip injections. This is nothing to worry about. If you take all natural Arnica tablets, it will make the bruising clear up faster.Best of luck!
Swelling and bruising are common after lip injections and can persist up to two weeks. Intermittent use of cold compresses may be helpful for the first two days. If after two weeks you still have concerns, return to your injector for an evaluation.
Hello AshalillyB,I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing this. From your photo, this appears to be bruising and should resolve within two weeks. I suggest returning to see your injector in person to be evaluated further. For any future injections, consider having injections done with a cannula. In my practice I perform filler injections in the lips with cannulas and this has greatly reduced the risk of bruising. Hope this helps,
Hello and thank you for your question and photo. It is normal to have bruising , especially with lips , they are very vascular and bruise and swell easily.
Hello and thank you for your question. We would always recommend seeking a face to face consult for the best advice and treatment plan however from the information you have provided no this could not be normal- please contact your original injector immediately. Always seek an experienced and qualified practitioner for any of these treatments. I hope that helps, best wishes
Thank you for your question. From the photo you have attached, it appears as though you are experiencing some bruising which is very normal and can be expected after a filler. Give this 7-10 days and this should subside. You may also take Arnica Montana to help the process of your bruising. Best of luck!
Thank you for your photo. This is a common place for the lips to bruise after lip filler. They are highly vascular and bruising can occur even at the hands of a very experienced injector. This should resolve on its own. If you notice any blanching (white) areas in the lip, that is a more serious concern and should be addressed by your injector immediately.
Thank you for your question and I am sorry you are experiencing these headaches. While headaches after Juvederm filler have not been reported in the literature, the human body is complex! You did all of the appropriate testing to find out the cause of the headaches. You can always dissolve...
Hi there! Thank you for your question. I always start with 0.5ml in the lips-particularly for new patients. It is a much safer approach to add filler bit by bit and it also means we can achieve natural looking results. Furthermore, 0.5ml-1ml of filler can actually add significant volume to the...
It is possible to have bruising that can last 1-2 weeks after Juvederm filler. If you are experiencing pain, please contact your doctor for assessment.
