1 day after 1ml in my chin and jaw by cannula, there are lumps in my jaw. Is it normal? Will it go away? (photos)

Thanks for your question and I appreciate your concern. It is not unusual to have some swelling after injecting dermal fillers into the jawline. The cannula is often the tool of choice for sensitive areas like this because it reduces bruising risk. I would wait 2-3 weeks for the swelling to subside and then see how your results look. If you are still unhappy at that point, you can schedule a follow-up appointment with your doctor for an in-person assessment and further treatment if necessary. Luckily, Juvederm can be reversed with a dissolving agent.

Swelling is not uncommon with this procedure and can take up to two weeks to resolve.  Gentle massage of the area may be helpful.  If after two weeks you still have concerns, return to your injector for an evaluation.

We would always recommend seeking a face to face consult for the best advice and treatment plan however from the information you have provided yes 1 day after treatment it can be normal to still feel the filler-you must give it a couple of weeks to settle. If you are unhappy with the results after that then please go back to your injector.
