Hi I had primarty rhinoplasty in 2023, revision in 2024. My nose was very crooked after primary, I also had valve collapse and breathing problems. My natural nose had slim bridge, now after revision is wide and tip is wide too, spreader grafts were used to correct crookedness. Can another revision fix the width issue and how? Im attaching pictures for your evaluaton.
A year and 4 months ago ive undergone a revision rhinoplasty. The top portion of my bridge is very uneven, where it looks like one side is sloped down and the other is risen. The sloped down side which is my left, seems to become very pointy at the tip with a white blanch mark. The right side from the midnasal section down seems to be more rounded and not as sharp. Do you believe this is the final result? It doesnt looks natural to me in person and I feel very self conscious about it.
Hello dear doctors, 10 Months ago I had my primary open surgery. I realized in order to have my natural frontal view and nose height, not only tip projection, but columella longening is required, am I right? So I had these questions: 1. is it manageable to enlongen columella through closed revision? (columellar strut) 2. is widening my bridge, alar base and tip projection with ear cartilage through a closed revision possible? (ear cartilage would not be absorbed in a few years..?) 3. How much likely is it to achieve a natural result like 4th pic? 4. as long as I know, the thing that limits the surgery is skin shortness. so since in closed revision, no skin is shortened, if I don't get the desired results, will it be safe to just pass and go for another opened revision without losing anything? Thank you for your time
Hi I am very upset with my result. The surgeon has shaved down my bridge without me wanting this and its now very thin and low with a lot of bumps that are highly noticeable. My skin is now really thin and Im so upset. Is there a way by bridge can be reinstated and made slightly wider as it was previously? My tip in light also can see like a split effect running through it and its smaller than I wanted. I just want my bridge raised and slightly wider and my tip higher then my bridge and round
I had a nose job 2 years ago, then a revision last October, over a year ago. I'm not happy with the look at all, and am looking world wide for the best revision possible. I want as much as possible of my previous look back. There are also countless breathing issues. The main new one is a very cold sensation, between my eyebrows, sometimes more bridge, sometimes more forehead. It began sporadic but is beginning to feel constant. What might be happening here?
Hello, it has been a few years since I had a narrow piece of alloderm placed on the bridge of my nose but it looks very unnatural & unattractive sort of like a silicone implant. I know it is not ideal to remove as my tissues have integrated into the graft but I'm not asking if its ideal, I'm looking for a surgeon who is skilled with this type of removal surgery & who is able to safely remove the alloderm.
I have broken my nose 3x. This has left me with a significant bump on the bridge of my nose. It has also made my nose almost longer? My nose is also very bulbous. I was wondering if rhinoplasty can fix the extent of my bulbousity and the significant bump. I was also wondering if a rhinoplasty can shorten my nose.
I had a rhinoplasty 4 years ago. It was fine but 1 year ago I developed a lump on the bridge and it is getting bigger over time. It feels hard like scar tissue. Im scared it will keep getting bigger. What could it be? I cannot go back to my original surgeon, he is no longer practising. Ive consulted with a couple of uk surgeons but they are not keen on taking on a revision from another surgeon.
Hello, I had a rhinoplasty done in Dec 2023. Im now 11 months post op but my bridge is not straight like I wanted. The tip has a bump (button) because of its projection. My surgeon offered to deproject my nose in office under local. Is that safe?
