My surgeon suggested the Ellevate procedure to rectify facelift problems but it doesnt appear to have made any difference! Help I had a facelift in January 2019 and after a year my jowls and neckline still appeared to be sagging and I had banding from my chin to neck. My surgeon suggested Ellevate which I did in January this year but as far as I can see there is no difference on the before and after photos. Can you please give me your thoughts as I dont feel that I have had value for money as apart from now having one band instead of two, there is very little difference. I feel this isnt the end result I was promised.
I had a facelift last May. I am not happy with the outcome. During my consultation I specifically told him I wanted help with my jaw line, my jowls, and around my mouth. There is still a a lot of hanging. I really do not see a difference. My doctor said he is happy with the results there is a big difference. I have complained for a a while. And now he is saying he can do a tuck which is just the skin.
I got a lower facelift/necklift in 2018 when I was 40. It looked great but now my neck skin has started to get crepey and my jowls are starting to become noticeable. Do you think I can delay a revision get a deep plane lift for a few years and until then maybe use facetite and like Morpheus8? Please excuse my dry skin in the photos(retinol).
I had a lower blepharoplasty w/ tear through implants in 2022 and a lower facelift in May 2023. I wanted to get the facelift to specifically get rid of the wrinkles around my mouth. Jowls. I am not happy with my relults. My lower face on the sides of my mouuth now look like a small circle pouch or something. What can I do? Thank you. What do you think was done wrong that I have this issue?
I had a mini facelift 2 years ago and do not think the outcome was successful. The areas of concern were my jowls, jawline, nasobilial folds, double chin, which from our pre-op appts and from other patient photos, he showed me that all of those areas will be improved. I have attached the doctors pre-op photos, 4 months post op, and my photos. He has said that the outcome of my surgery is great but I disagree. I also have tingling and sensory changes from my cheekbone to my ear. Please advise.
I had a facelift and supposedly, a necklift about two months ago. The surgeon did not through an incision under the chin. After surgery, I felt a hard and sore bunching at both sides of my neck, behind ears and slightly below on my neck. This hard tissue that bulged out of neck eventually relaxed a littlebut now it has turned into thick pleats and folds. Is this normal? Ive never seen this on someones facelift before? It looks awful. Is this a sign of a poorly executed necklift/ facelift?
Had a full facelift 1 yr ago. Jowls returned so Dr agreed to lower facelift revision at no cost after 1yrs time. Had procedure, local anesthesia, didnt feel pain but could feel pulling. Excruciating pain after, a few days only. Day one I looked GREAT! But a little after a week, noticed jawline softening and jowls returning. I am devastated. Dr suggested could be swelling, have to wait. Wonderfully Skilled surgeon in major US city. Pic 1+2 are 1st day. Why is this happening?
The revision my PS has suggested would be to make a longer incision from under my chin and along to the jowl area, where a little fat may be removed, and then the skin would be lifted and the surplus skin cut away before being pulled together and sutured. This I am told by the PS will leave noticeable scarring along my neck and concerns me. I would be grateful to hear of any other options which would not leave noticeable scars? I am now 13 months since lower face and neck lift surgery!
