I'm a 64-year-old female who had a face and neck lift 6 months ago. Had hoped facelift would rid me of drooping jowls, but they are still there. Do these obvious jowls warrant revision surgery?
Answer: Revision for facelift at 6 Months? It's hard to fully evaluate your case based on the photos alone (without preop photos, etc), but I certainly see your point. Revisions are usually best reserved for 1 year and might be a consideration in your case. Based on the limited photos and assuming that your did have a revision, I would remove buccal fat once the deep pane had been elevated, likely add a chin implant, and perform concurrent fractionated CO2 laser resurfacing

Answer: Face I would suggest going back to your surgeon and discuss your concerns and options. Some radiofrequency treatments might be helpful since you are still healing.

Answer: Revision Facelift Dis your facelift actually lift the tissues? This can be frustrating when tissues are not lifted due to not receiving the results patients want. Is there a way to address the jowls situation with kybella? In some cases it can but others we recommend a full revision to address the deeper tissues. In most cases facelifts should last between 10-15 years.

Answer: Jowls persist six months after a facelift A full set of facial photographs from all angles are required to make a determination about how best to proceed, in addition to a copy of the operative report to find out what was the accomplished in the first procedure. From these two very limited photographs, there appears to be not only jowls, but deflation of the midface, a recessive chin profile, and fullness in the submental area below the Chin.
