It has been 5 months after my asian eyelid surgery and my scar is still lumpy and bumpy, the hypertrophic scar didn't disappear. I have steroid injection and silicon gel, but it still lumpy and didn't flatten completely. I am worried that it will not flatten. Will it flatten? Any other treatment that will help my scar? Will picosure laser help?
I had double eyelid revision beginning of October. Now its rough about 6 months since my surgery. I notice that my scar is pretty noticeable still. Its hypertrophic and still has some discoloration. Should I be patient and wait another 6 months or have a consultation with a doctor for potential treatments for it? Any advice would be so helpful!!! Thanks.
I am really bothered my lower eyelids, especially whenever I smile. I am interested in orbicularis oculi muscle hypertrophy blepharoplasty. I have seen online one doctor offers a lower eyelid muscle tuck. I have done Botox on th lower eyelid before but results were temporary and didn't allow a complete seal when I closed my eyes to wash my face or shower. I wa What options do I have and can I completely get rid of my lower eyelid pilows permanently?
Surgeon says it could be a hytrophic scar At the time of surgery he said my tendon needed repairing from wearing contact lenses it had stretched I don't understand why the left eye looks normal and my right eye is very out of place I can't properly look up and the lump is still there even though it still swollen I think the lump will still be there and it's causing the crease to look high.I dont know what to do can someone help me plz or any recommendations.
What's the best way to remedy? Started massaging incision scar with castor oil and silicon taping epi scar 2 days ago. Is this ok? Whats the best way to prevent hypertrophic scar? Should I seek steroid injection or stick with more natural methods for now?
I had double eyelid surgery and medial epi 47 days ago in Korea. The scars are very visible and raised. Today I noticed there's a cyst on my left eye. It's red, I don't know if it's infection. Also the incisions look really high to be natural for Asian eyes. The eyelids cover half of my pupils, that makes me look tired (it didn't before). My eyes look sunken. Can double eyelid surgery reversed? I'm so depressed and regret doing it. Will the incisions go down? Should I have a steroid injections?
I did my upper bleph early of march. I expect that my eyes is will return to normal in 1 mth, but the redness stayed and I developed hypertrophic scar. Went back to my surgery and got laser treatment. Then I notice that eyes is gotten redder, I wear eyeshadow to cover up the redness. Is it normal for the eyes too stay red after 2 and half months? Should I be worried? I applied silicon gel by the advice of the doctor. Is that ok? Or should I just leave it alone?
I did medial epicanthoplasty on 1 oct 2011, it's been over 2 months and nearly 3 months, the scars have turned white, on my right eye the bottm of the scar is flat but the top is hypertropic, raised. On my left eye, the scar is very obvious, raised, hypertropic. Are the scars permanent? Is there anyway to improve or remove the scars? As right now, if i do not put on makeup, it is very obvious that i had done surgery on my eyes. I have included a picture. Thank you.
I got double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty in Vietnam twice. The first time I was left with uneven eyelids as well as very visible hypertrophic scars on both inner corners of my eyes. I went back for a revision 6 months ago in which the lids are now even, however the scars healed hypertrophic again. Will this go away? The photo shows how my eyes look currently. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly.
