Eligibility for partial incision double eyelid?

I have a tendency for hypertrophic scarring and keloid. Can I still get the partial incision method to make my Asian soft crease deeper/more prominent? Or is the DST method my only option

DST or Suture double eyelid surgery leaves no perceptible scar once healed. It is not ideal for all eyelid types and its effectiveness depends on the thickness of your skin and how easily the fold forms for you. If you have a crease already it can be very effective. See a surgeon with lots of Asian eyelid experience as this is tricky surgery.Good Luck

In general, the eyelids do not have a tendency to keloid in patients with a tendency for hypertrophic scarring and keloid.

Your concerns are common but the eyelids do not heal the way the rest of the body does.  Suture technique isn't the best option usually so a hybrid or partial incision would be the minimum for most patients.  Hypertrophic scars is something I've never seen long term.  I do see it temporarily rarely at the inner corner but it resolves with time, massage, and steroid injections.Chase Lay MDAsian eyelid surgery specialist
