I woke up this morning with swollen lymph nodes on my neck. Went to urgent care and she gave me a steroid and antibiotic. Will be discussing with my surgeon at my pre-op in 5 days but in the meantime wants to ask doctors here. Would this be a reason to reschedule my chin lipo that is set for 3 weeks from now?
I had Kybella a year ago and my PA injected 4 vials at once. I am still very swollen with a hard bump of fat under my chin, that is worse than before treatment. The clinic didnt know it was PAH (paradoxical adipose hyperplasia) until contacting Allergan directly (after many agonizing months), and advised chin lipo was the way to correct it. Have any doctors corrected Kybella-caused PAH with chin lipo and have good results? I am concerned with downtime and if the procedure will even work for me.
I had chin lipo 8 days ago and its hard to see any progress because I still have the hard lumps under my chin as well as swollen lymph nodes that are painful to the touch. Is this normal? I asked my doctor during my follow up and at first he seemed alarmed then he said I was okay. Im both confused and concerned.
As you can see from the photos, my chin 24 hours after surgery look very good with an angle even appearing on my neck. However, the day 3 results look more like what I had before the operation. Ive been diligent about wearing my compression strap & only took it off to take these photos and to shower once - my doc said I could do this. I know area is still swollen, but is it normal for the skin so swell so much after the 24 hour mark?
I had chin lipo 3 months ago, my ps told me that it would take about 3 months to see my final results but it seems like i still have some double chin left and that little bit left feels hard and somewhat swollen and achy. Is it still heeling? Is this my final result?
Hello: I had a nose job and a double chin liposuction three weeks ago. I'm really worried about the neck, it was swollen from the beginning but ten days after the surgery these lumps appeared and I'd like to know if that's normal or if it is the result of a bad surgery. If they are normal, how long will they take to disappear? Thank you.
I underwent chin lipo 2 months ago and I've seen improvement since the first day but I still have a little bit of double chin and I'm not sure if this could be swelling, loose skin or fat. If I pinch the skin it feels really thin, it doesn't feel like there's fat in there, and there's also a little bit of pain when I press. Is it normal to be swollen at 2 months or am I looking at the final result? I still wear my garment to bed and sometimes around the house. Thank you.
Hello, Had a chin liposuction last week. And so far happy with it, still wearing the head strep as much as possible. However there is a earea under my chin toward the neck that still looks fat. Also is feels numb. Does that mean it's swollen that earea? Thanks for any answers.
I had chin lipo 8 days ago. As soon as the doctor showed me a mirror, I noticed that there seemed to be an uneven area under my chin. (like one side still had some fat). He had already stitched me up and honestly I really was ready for the procedure to be over so I didn't voice my concern. I actually thought it was just swelling and would even out. Now a week later it looks even more uneven. I guess Im starting to get concerned. Would swelling even show up immediately after surgery?
