Thank you for your question. The fact that it is hard and swollen means there are still changes happening, so that is a bonus. Now by 3 months about 80% of the results are typically there the remaining takes about 3 more months in my hands. So I tell patients to expect it to take 6 months.  I would recommend still wearing the garment if you have that. It continues to help in my experience. This is difficult to answer without a physical examination. If you have residual fat this can be re-treated with further liposuction. If your problem is related to excess skin, then a skin tightening procedure or neck lift may be required. At this point, it is important to determine whether the problem is with skin or residual fat. Good luck 

Only your surgeon knows the magnitude of your procedure and the appearance of your neck at the completion of the operation, and so they are the most reliable source in predicting your final result.  Having said that, the fact that the tissue is still hard suggests ongoing induration, inflammation, and likely swelling, so you may still see some improvement.  It is not unusual for the results of surgery to mature over months to a year.  Know that if you have concerns about your results, likely they could be improved with either additional liposuction, possibly kybella or coolsculpting for further fat reduction, even Ultherapy or RF treatment to tighten the skin.  

Keep in mind that it takes 6 months to see the full results of face liposuction. It is perfectly normal for you to be experiencing different degrees of swelling throughout your healing process. Swelling can be asymmetrical and feel lumpy at times. Be patient, and the swelling should resolve and any loose skin should tighten up on its own.    If you are still concerned, I recommend following up with the surgeon who performed our procedure

It would be helpful to know more about the surgical techniques applied during the procedures as you may benefit from additional surgery to better correct your concern. Nevertheless, it's best to wait at least 6 to 12 months depending on the reason for a #revision.As with all #cosmetic surgery, results will be rewarding if expectations are realistic. With any surgical #procedure and #revision, there are some risks of unhappy outcome or other complications which your surgeon should discuss with you during your consultation. Your procedure should always be performed by a #PlasticSurgeon who is board-certified and has a great deal of experience specializing in cosmetic #surgery. You will then greatly improve your chances of getting the result you desire, and, without the need for additional revision surgery.

I would expect your final result to be better than that. The fact that the area is firm, swollen, and achy is an indicator of continued healing and swelling. I would discuss with your plastic surgeon.Good luck!

Ill recommend you to wait till you have 6 months, after that period of time your results are going to be the final result.

Results are typically flannel or very close to final by three months.
I do not expect a significant change from Hearon.
The fact that the area is still tender and firm means there's still the inflammation so some changes will occur with more time.
You may be a candidate for a secondary liposuction procedure.
You should not consider a revision or secondary liposuction until at least six months after the first procedure.
