Hi, My chin lipo was done over a year ago, it healed extremely tight and I loved how it looked, although underneath was tight and visibly lumpy. I decided to massage it 2 weeks ago to see if the bumps would be less noticeable, and used a very firm pressure a few times. Now it seems that the skin underneath/ around the edge has become extremely loose and it doesnt look as tight anymore. Is it possible to have damaged the results? Or could it be swelling/healing again?
Hi there. I got chin liposuction and noticed these lines pretty quickly. I was hopeful they would go away with daily massages and wearing my compression garment but they seem to have only gotten worse. Im not even sure what they are. Its two hard lines that star from the incision and run halfway down my neck. They are very tight, it hurts to lift my neck up.
I lost over 100 pounds and had neck liposuction in addition to other reconstructive procedures a month ago. I have developed strong, tight scar tissue and the appearance of my neck is much worse than what I had to begin with and at this point Im very sorry to have had it done. My surgeon has recommended intense massage (painfully hard pinching and twisting) of the tissue to break it up and smooth it out. Will my neck appearance improve with such massage? Should I be trying something else?
I had chin lipo done 11 weeks ago now. Wore the compression garment 24/7 the first 2 weeks, then about 15 hours a day for the next 3 weeks. At 2 weeks I began doing 45 minute deep tissue massages. I had very bad scar tissue that has improved but this deep an ridge isnt improving anymore.
I did not have a lot of fat to begin with, but wanted to have what I had, contoured and taken out. Since hour after surgery, I have had this large elogated lump. It is neither firm nor soft. It is definitely not a hematoma. It feels like swelling consistency. I am concerned that is seems to have not gone down any and it has been almost a month. The area directly under the chin is still numb. I have tried massaging it. What could this be? Is it still swelling?
I received 2 sessions of kybella about 6 months apart. I so regret the second round. In certain lighting it looks like something was ripped away from my skin from the inside of my neck. My skin looks compromised and lose. It is also uneven, and when I pull it tout it looks lumpy and bumpy. I constantly massage it an fasiablast it to break down the scar tissue, and tighten it up, it has been 7 months since my last treatment. I wish I would have just chin lipo to start with. Can I do chin lipo now???
I had neck and chin liposuction 12 days ago. I am now noticing bands from under my chin running down my neck, from what I have read this is normal and can be helped with massage. I have read to massage as hard as you can stand to gently rubbing. Being not quite two weeks out I am not sure when I can start to massage and how hard. I am still quite tender. Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer :-)
Hello. I got chin liposuction 3 weeks ago and the result right after the intervention was amazing (pic 1). Of course, as I was told by my surgeon swelling happened and a hard lump started to appear under my chin. It is more noticeable on my right profile. I massaged it and it seems a bit softer now. My question is: will this lump disappear with time or is it some left over fat that will need revision eventually? Should I keep massaging the area or let it heal naturally? Thank you.
