1 year after chin liposuction - Could massaging the area have caused loose skin?

Hi, My chin lipo was done over a year ago, it healed extremely tight and I loved how it looked, although underneath was tight and visibly lumpy. I decided to massage it 2 weeks ago to see if the bumps would be less noticeable, and used a very firm pressure a few times. Now it seems that the skin underneath/ around the edge has become extremely loose and it doesn’t look as tight anymore. Is it possible to have damaged the results? Or could it be swelling/healing again?

Answer: Tighten loose skin by doing Morpheus8 treatments for a more defined look.
Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful...
While some mild fibrosis does occur, it is most certainly possible to have chin liposuction following a cryolipolysis procedure. Liposuction or other open techniques would be the preferred steps if the results you desire were not achieved by noninvasive methods.
