I had chin liposuction 3 weeks ago. Large lump under chin. Advice? (photos)

It seems that you're unhappy with your recovery. To answer your one question, usually you can have some small irregularities, lumps and healing issues.  Though they are not very common, they can happen. It is a known complication that can occur after a liposuction procedure however. They are more common in people who have had hematoma or seromas. I would recommend that you see a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area that is a member of both ASPS & ASAPS and performs a lot of liposuction if you want a second opinion and of course, make sure you follow up with your own surgeon and talk about this. I hope this helps and wish you all the best in your surgery and event. You may still have swelling, which can take several weeks to resolve. I recommend following up with your surgeon about your concerns. Hope this helps.

Mild irregularities soon after liposuction is not uncommon and respond very well to massage. However if it doesnt get better with time then you might need to find out the etiology. It can be fat, scar, fluid collection etc... Treatment is then according to the cause. Make sure you follow up with your surgeon

Only in person examination allows a determination if scar tissue/fibrosis, excess fat, or both. Might try KyBella injections, external ultrasound, steroid injections??

I do many chin liposuctions and have never seen anything like this. Could be swelling, could be something more serious. Seek a follow up with your surgeon to see what he/she says. Best of luck!
