Say two persons, one has lost his weight in the traditional way and second lost it via liposuction? Visually speaking, how would person A be different than person B in his appearance ? say his tummy area. Dont both methods take out fat ? Im seeking answers from a medical point of view, not from whats moral and acceptable or financial.
Answer: Liposuction changes fat distribution ratio
Fat is distributed throughout your body by fixed distribution ratio determined by age, genetics and sex. When you do liposuction, you change the distribution ratio by reducing the amount within the areas liposucted. When you lose weight spontaneously from dietary techniques and exercise, weight is lost in different areas throughout your body based on how the cells are programmed. The pattern of weight loss after diet changes is different then a change in distribution ratio.

Answer: What's the Difference Between Losing Weight Through Diet and Execrises and Losing It Through Liposuction?
Liposuction is a procedure for reducing fullness due to fat in specific areas of the body. It removes the fat cells from areas which do not get better with weight loss or exercise. It is excellent for patients who are at or near their ideal body weight. Liposuction is a sculpting tool if you will, and not a form of weight loss. Be sure to seek out a board certified surgeon who has expertise in this area and ask to see before and after pictures.

Answer: What is the difference between liposuction and natural weight loss?
The best way to lose weight is always diet and exercise. This is vastly superior in regards to your health and metabolism. That being said, natural weight loss will reduce fat in the areas of your body that are genetically programmed to lose fat first (for instance some women lose it in their breasts before their hips-though they wish it were the other way around). Liposuction provides targeted weight loss/fat reduction in the areas that are most out of proportion with the rest of the body. Liposuction provides no metabolic benefit to an overweight person (it is as if the fat were never there in the first place). The best candidate for liposuction is a patient with a normal body weight who has localized areas of excess adiposity (such as lateral thigh saddle bags). I hops this helps

Answer: What's the Difference Between Losing Weight Through Diet and Exercises and Losing It Through Liposuction?
As a bodybuilder and a plastic surgeon, I will have a unique perspective on this. If you are in good shape and you can never get to that next level, I can take your physique to that next level with liposuction. Sometimes, individuals will have problem areas that are relatively exercise resistant. Liposuction results are highly surgeon dependent. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results.
