I am 64 and in good health. I am on no medications or supplements. Is a Facelift, neck lift, C02 laser full face and a facial fat transfer too much to do with your skin during one procedure? I read where some surgeons prefer to do the fat transfer and the lifts then a few weeks later do the cO2. Thank you for your help.
Answer: FL, NL, fat transfer & laser all at once I routinely do face and neck lifts with or without fat transfer at the same time as CO2 laser. It can be done safely by experienced surgeons. If your surgeon feels comfortable doing all the procedures at the same time I wouldn't be concerned. Preservation Deep plane lifts help as there is less skin elevation during these procedures. Combining these procedures can lead to beautiful results. Hope that helps. Best,Matthew Tamplen MD

Answer: 64 & in good health - is a FL, NL, fat transfer & laser too much at once? Hi, Combining a facelift, neck lift, fat transfer, and laser resurfacing can be considered in the same session, especially if you're in good health. Performing these procedures simultaneously can provide comprehensive rejuvenation with the convenience of a single recovery period. However, it's essential to consider factors like the increased surgical time and the body's ability to heal from multiple procedures at once. A thorough medical evaluation is crucial to ensure you're a suitable candidate for combined surgeries. In our practice, we usually try to decrease the number of combined procedures to shorten operation time which is known to decrease anesthesia related complications. Keeping the operation time short and decreasing the number of procedures done in the same session, is an important element of patient safety. Also it is well known that combining many facial procedures at once will increase facial swelling, which will in turn, increase surgical complications. Excessive facial swelling also decreases effectiveness and precision of the combined procedure. As Plastic Surgeons, we assess our patient’s overall health, discuss potential risks, and tailor the surgical plan to prioritize both safety and optimal aesthetic outcomes. My comments and recommendations are solely based on your text and are subject to change. I always recommend a face-to-face consultation with a specialist to plan the treatment. Best wishes, Dr. Surmeli.

Answer: Facelift with laser and fat grafting It is a surgeon's individual preference to do multiple procedures at the same time or not. Surgeons do it to help the patient get everything done at once so there is only one healing period and you don't have to go through multiple procedures. However, the risk of complications increases with multiple procedures. Some highly experienced surgeons can accomplish all of these safely but make sure to discuss these issues in detail with your surgeon. Regards Dr. J

Answer: Facelift, Neck lift, Fat transfer and Laser for facial rejuvenation at 64 Thank you for your query. I often do non-ablative CO2 laser resurfacing at the same time as FaceLift, neck lift and Facial fat transfer. Ablative lasers are, however, better delayed . Please find an experienced board certified Plastic surgeon who can examine you and help you with all your concerns. All the best!
