Had a rhinoplasty in March and the experience was great and I am very happy with the results. Scheduling the consult and surgery was easy, and while I had more bruising than expected the team was really responsive and helpful with all of my post op concerns and needs. Nose looks great!

I’m leaving this review for those who have had a prior botched rhino and are terrified of having another one. I had a large pore removed from my nose which left a large indent, then had it stitched up, and ultimately had surgery 6 or so years ago and it left my right nostril quite a bit higher than my left, the indent was still there, and it looked like I had two halves of two noses pieced together. I tried to just make peace with it, but it was the first thing I noticed in every picture. I did a lot of research on revision rhinos and was impressed with Dr Tamplens abilities. It’s always a huge leap of faith to let someone alter your face, but I decided to take the risk bc I was so unhappy. I’m glad I did because my nose looks significantly better. The indent is gone, my nostrils are symmetrical and my tip is defined. There’s no such thing as a ‘perfect’ nose (I’m adding that for those of you who are a bit obsessive like I am), but I’m grateful I took the plunge bc I’m very happy with my nose now. Also, recovery isn’t bad at all. The worst part is the stents, mostly bc my nose is always runny so I had to breathe out of my mouth a lot at first. Recovery was quick and pain free. Overall, I’m very happy with my results and I would highly recommend Dr Tamplen and his team. They are fantastic.

I had an ethnic rhinoplasty and lower blepharoplasty with Dr. Tamplen in December. I am currently two months out. My lower blepharoplasty was PERFECT a week out from surgery. I went in for cast removal and it was excellent! I am still healing from my rhinoplasty but the improvement is insane, like I can't believe it's me. He gave me a nose that fits my face. There is still some uneven swelling but it's healing nicely. I will update this as my healing progresses. My lower bleph is still perfect. If you are sitting on the fence about getting this done, GET IT DONE! I felt OK being in public 3 weeks after surgery, every week gets better. Will also add pics in the future.

I had a facelift age 64. During my consultation with Dr Tamplen I was impressed with his quiet confidence and thorough understanding of what I wanted to achieve. The surgery went very well, and the results absoluteky exceeded my expectations. The result I wanted (but unsure how attainable it would be) was to turn the clock

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Primary Rhino/ Septoplasty. I found Dr Tamplen after a lot of research and careful consideration.

Dr. Tamplen was skilled, professional, thorough, and easily available pre- and post-op for any questions (which was really important to me.) His team and the whole office was also very nice, clean, professional, communicative- everything you'd want before trusting someone in a serious procedure.

I've always had a large dorsal hump and deviated septum/ breathing issues. I'm 30 years old and had never planned to change my nose but in the last 2 years my nose issues became much worse (cosmetically and functionally). One side of the tip grew and essentially was ballooning, while the other side was deflating/ looking concave. When I took a breath in through my nose, one nostril would shut completely. I started waking up with a soar throat every morning.

I put Dr Tamplen on my list of doctors to meet with because I liked his aesthetic. I hadn't realized how much of an 'art' it is to shape a nose until starting my rhinoplasty research. (Also because he is double-board certified, great reviews etc.)

I looked for doctors in Colorado, California, and Arizona. I was willing to travel and take my time to find the right doctor. I researched, spoke with, and scheduled a number of consults.

It was in my consult with Dr Tamplen that I knew I'd found my doctor. He was thorough in explaining everything I wanted to know. He answered all my questions and explained the techniques he would use to fix both the look and function. He was confident he could fix these things while still being honest and realistic. He was upfront about how common revision rhinoplasties are and how you don't know exactly what's going on until getting in there in surgery.

My nose had so many issues at this point, I was careful not to get my expectations up to high, but I am happy to say I am THRILLED with the results!

He nailed the cosmetic side. I couldn't believe how symmetrical he got the tip after how wonky it was before. The slope is perfect after a lot of consideration. I absolutely love how natural it looks. I heard some people say it can be weird getting used to a new face in the mirror after a rhinoplasty, but my nose feels so natural and a part of my face, I didn't experience that at all.

He also nailed to function side. I can breath through my nose for the first time in my life. The soar throats that developed in the last 1-2 years- totally disappeared. My sense of smell is incredible now! (I had always had a very weak sense of smell.) I can do breathing exercises in yoga class I could never do before. So many cool things now that my nose in functioning!

The one tiny thing I recommend to folks is to be really thorough with cleaning your stitches and applying neosporn between the nostrils. I think I did bad job of this in this first 3 days because I felt pretty wrecked and I now have little bumps where the stitches were.

In terms of recovery- It was exactly 1 month after my surgery date that the bruising was gone and I was going out to parties and seeing people. There was a little swelling and 'settling' left at that point, but not much.

It has now been 3 months since my surgery date and I couldn't be happier! I'm looking back at my calendar to write this review and cannot believe it was only 3 short months ago that I went into surgery, had a full recovery, and have been living in the world with this new beautiful and functional nose.

I was so scared and cautious about this procedure and am so thankful I found such a great doctor who has made this massive improvement on my life.

I came to Dr. Tamplen because he was highly recommended by a friend that had Rhinoplasty, and her results were outstanding. I was a bit apprehensive on ANY type of plastic surgery, however my sagging neck was starting to bother me. I'm in my early 60's and never have had any type of cosmetic work done, and my biggest fear was looking too tight and unnatural. Dr Tamplen was extremely thorough..... explaining everything very clear at my first consultation. I was impressed by his experience and attention to detail.... he referred to his work as an "art" and his philosophy of being a perfectionist. After looking at me, he thought that I would be happiest with a mini face lift which would not only tighten my neck, but would lift and tighten my jowls as well. Honestly.... I was terrified, but also excited after looking at some of his before and after photos of others that did this same procedure. I went ahead with the surgery and after just a couple of weeks of rest, I had enough confidence to go back to my daily routine. Best part is my closest friends AND even my sister never could tell what I did. I got lots of comments such as.... "Your skin looks great..... what are you using?" Basically, you will look younger, refreshed but most of all.... naturally lifted. I absolutely love the results and so happy I chose Dr. Tamplen.

Dr. Tamplen was fantastic and I love my results. He gave me exactly what I wanted and everything healed great. He was so fast to respond to any questions I had after the surgery. I highly recommend him!

I have had a few treatments with Dr. Tamplen and really appreciate how he addresses my concerns without pushing treatments I’m not interested in. I’ve had Botox injections and just started having him do fillers in a couple areas. My Botox treatments are for both the angry lines between my eyes and the relaxing of my forehead muscles, which I have found reduces tension in my face. In the long term I will consider a potential eye lift for both personal and medical reasons.

He listens and cares about his patients outcomes. And his staff is professional and helpful.

I highly recommend him for his careful attention. And his prices are very reasonable.
