I’m 52 years old and I’m looking to have some regenerative surgery. I want to have a facelift upper eye surgery and a lip lift. I found a surgeon that I really like for the facelift, but he does not do lip lift. I’ve also found a doctor that only does eyes. Should I keep looking to find a doctor that I like that can do all three procedures at the same time? I am not sure how close together I can have these surgeries if I go with different doctors. Advice would be appreciated.
Answer: Surgery I would suggest finding a surgeon that does all three. You might try an older surgeon. I am not a fan of the lip lift in someone your age because you will see the scar every time you look in the mirror. The lip lift works best in older women who have lots of upper lip lines. Also, the lift does not give volume. You might consider a fat transfer to your lip instead.

Answer: Cosmetic Surgery It would generally be best to undergo all procedures together since they are not that extensive and can result in one recovery period.

Answer: Undergoing a total facelift and lip lift simultaneously can provide significant benefits for your appearance. Undergoing a total facelift and lip lift simultaneously can provide significant benefits for your appearance. You are a suitable candidate for these two procedures, which can be performed in a single surgery to streamline the recovery process and enhance both your facial and lip appearance at once. The total facelift targets deep sagging in the face and neck to provide a more youthful look, while the lip lift can reduce the distance between your lips. This combined approach helps achieve more harmonious results by considering the overall aesthetics of your face. Combining surgeries is always more advantantageous for the patient in terms of recovery and minimal anesthesia risk. However, I always make a thorough plan to ensure the total anesthesia duration is safe for my patient. I conduct a thorough assessment to determine your specific needs and establish the best approach for you. This way, we can ensure the necessary planning is in place to achieve the best results for both procedures.

Answer: Combining surgeries makes the most sense. A plastic surgeon with a specialization in facial rejuvenation should be able to perform an upper blepharoplasty, lip lift, and the facelift at one setting so you have a single anesthesia and a single recovery. This will also reduce your cost. The entire surgery should take only approximately 4.5 hours. If you decide to go with separate doctors, have your facelift done first, and then when you return one or two weeks later, the eyes and the lip lift could be performed, as both can be done under local anesthesia.

Answer: Deep plane facelift You are an ideal patient for a deep plane face and neck lift, but in order not to extend the face lift incision upwards, it may be considered to add a temporal lift. A combined facial rejuvenation can be achieved by adding the upper eyelid and lip lift. MD Erman Ak Plastic and Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgeon

Answer: Facelift, eyes, lip lift Hello, I would suspect that the person that "only does eyes" is an oculoplastic surgeon (eye doctor) as opposed to a plastic surgeon who performs many different types of facial surgery. Oculoplastic surgeons cannot perform facelifts whereas those trained in plastic surgery can perform both. Sometimes the advertising can be very confusing! A lip lift, done correctly, is a very specialized procedure. Do not minimize the importance of selecting a surgeon who performs that procedure often! Considering the ratio of the width of your mouth to the base of your nose can make it even more challenging. To truly get a lip lift done by an expert may require out of state travel. I would not consider it a routine procedure on its own or in addition to a facelift or eye surgery. Best of luck. Dr. Reilly
