Laser tightening or removal - what is best for treating my loose, thick skin? (photo)

Radiesse can stimulate collagen production, which sometimes leads to thicker, firmer skin along the jawline. Lasers in general will not tighten this amount of skin. You would get a better result out of a facelift, possibly a deep plane lift that lifts closer to your mouth and cheeks.

When patients develop loose facial skin over time this is best treated with facelift surgery to redrape and reposition the lax tissues. Lasers can be performed at the same time as facelift surgery to smooth the fine lines and wrinkles of the skin. While lasers are great for creating a fresh appearance to the skin, lasers do not provide significant lifting and tightening.
