Hi I have loose skin along my jawline which is also thickened from radiesse collagen production. Is it possible to cut this out versus just stabeling it back? Or better yet, is it possible to use lasers to tighten? Pulling back does not look right as it is still bulky hence why rather cut it out.
Answer: Best Approach for Loose, Thickened Jawline Skin – Excision vs. Lifting or Lasers? Radiesse can stimulate collagen production, which sometimes leads to thicker, firmer skin along the jawline. If this collagen-rich tissue causes visible heaviness or bulkiness in the lower face, and simply pulling it back (as in a traditional lift) doesn’t create a natural contour, then more targeted approaches should be considered. ✔️ Surgical Excision (Cutting Out Tissue):If the skin is not only loose but also thick and redundant, surgical excision may be the best option. A lower facelift or direct neck/jawline excision could help remove excess tissue and define the contour. ✔️ Laser Treatments:Laser skin tightening (e.g., CO2, fractional lasers) may offer mild to moderate improvement but are less effective for dense or fibrotic tissue caused by collagen stimulation from fillers. They work better for early laxity, not for bulkier areas. ✔️ Lifting Alone May Not Be Enough:Pulling back thickened skin may not address the volume or weight. In such cases, simply stabilizing the tissue won’t resolve the fullness. Combining excision with a lift may be a more effective and natural-looking solution. Ultimately, your treatment should be tailored based on skin quality, tissue thickness, and facial anatomy. A thorough evaluation will help determine if excision, lifting, or a combination is right for your case.

Answer: Surgery Lasers in general will not tighten this amount of skin. You would get a better result out of a facelift, possibly a deep plane lift that lifts closer to your mouth and cheeks.

Answer: Treatment of loose facial skin When patients develop loose facial skin over time this is best treated with facelift surgery to redrape and reposition the lax tissues. Lasers can be performed at the same time as facelift surgery to smooth the fine lines and wrinkles of the skin. While lasers are great for creating a fresh appearance to the skin, lasers do not provide significant lifting and tightening.

Answer: Facelift - loose skin That's tricky question. From what I can see, it seems like a facelift may improve the whole situation, but I would recommend a consultation in person to get a better look and exam of what it is. Best Wishes!!

Answer: YOU NEED A FACELIT Hello dear, thank you for your question. I recommend you to have a facelift as it will give you a youthful appearance by removing excess skin and tightening the muscles, with results that can last for several years. Many people experience an increase in their self-esteem and confidence after this procedure, as it helps smooth wrinkles and fine lines. In addition, it improves the definition of the jaw and neck. Consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon is critical to determining if it's the right choice for you. You can text us via whatsapp at 1-829-554-6062 so we can give you the necessary recommendations about surgery. A pleasure to help.
