I'm a 49 yo female looking for some guidance on what cosmetic surgery procedures I would need to help balance out my long face. I was thinking rhinoplasty, lip lift, and chin reduction??? TIA :)
Answer: Rhiniplasty will make your face look younger and more feminine. Thank you for your question. This is my answer. Your nose is long and has bump on the nasal bridge. Also alar rim is retracted, which is the cause of nostril show from frontal view. What is recommended for your nose: bump reduction, osteotomy, tip lifting using septal cartilage graft and alar rim graft to cover retracted alar rim. After this surgery, your nose will look much younger, and your profile line will be very feminine.

Answer: Rhinoplasty/Mini facelift A rhinoplasty and a mini facelift would be nice procedures that would provide significant aesthetic improvement. The goals of the rhinoplasty would be to improve symmetry, refine your tip and reduce excess dorsal fullness and projection. The mini lift would lift your cheeks and jowl area for a more balanced fullness in your face.

Answer: Facial Plastic Surgery... Based on your photos, you are a good candidate for rhinoplasty. The bump can be taken down and the length of the nose reduced so it is overall smaller, thinner, and better shaped, all while keeping it looking natural. The chin is OK. A lip lift can work for you, but I would do it as a separate procedure. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.

Answer: Rhinoplasty and lip lift From these photos one could suggest rhinoplasty and lip lift. In the hands of a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in rhinoplasty, you can expect significant improvement. In person consultation is recommended. Good luck.

Answer: Nose job, lift lip, and more? I'm not sure if any of these procedures would address your concerns about a "long face". Adding volume to your cheeks may lead to a more balanced facial appearance. We are not fans of lip-lifting since some people develop visible scarring. Rhinoplasty surgery should be reserved for severe dissatisfaction with your nasal appearance, and chin reduction does not appear necessary. Hope this helps you. Dr Joseph
