Hi, I have a deviated septum that my insurance would likely cover fixing and I’m strongly considering cosmetic rhinoplasty alongside it. However, I am wondering if it would be possible to simply refine the tip of my nose and slightly shave the hump and how it would be done. I’m also worried about saddle nose deformity from septoplasty and curious what methods could be used

In addition, a thorough internal examination of the nose is required to make a determination about what's causing your nasal obstruction. A closed rhinoplasty, and a closed septoplasty can accomplish improvement of air flow through your nose in addition to the cosmetic changes you are wanting to accomplish. All of the incisions are placed on the inside of the nose. No external incisions are required, and no painful packing is required either.
