My daughter is 7 and has too much butt. I just want some of the fat sucked out!

No legitimate plastic surgeon (or sane individual for that matter) would entertain the notion of performing cosmetic liposuction or any other other cosmetic procedure on a 7 year old. If you have already consulted with a surgeon on this issue and they did not immediately redirect you, I would caution against moving any further.If you have legitimate weight or health concerns for your child, I would suggest you contact your pediatrician. 

Liposuction is really not indicated in the child of seven years. If body weight is an issue then suitable changes in diet and exercise should be instituted.

Interesting question.Liposuction should not be performed on a 7 year old. That would not be appropriate. Her body will change as she goes through puberty. She should appreciate her body for now and potentially make changes further down the road.

Butt reduction surgery on a 7 year old is most likely to cost you 10-15 years in prison. No legitimate plastic surgeon in their right mind would ever perform such a procedure on a child. Anyone that does is highly unlikely to be a safe surgeon. If your child is overweight then speak with your paediatrician about healthy ways to help your daughter lose weight. Best of luck!

I strongly agree with my colleagues on this topic.  Your child (or any other) is not a candidate for liposuction.  Body shaming can have a lasting affect on your child's mental health.  You should be helping her learn how to live a healthy lifestyle by encouraging her to eat healthy and to be active.  Please help her develop confidence in herself and her body.

I literally thought this was a joke until I saw the photo. Liposuction is completely inappropriate in children. You should discuss an exercise and diet program with her pediatrician for lifelong health.  I also recommend that you look beneath the surface and give her the emotional support, motivation and love to be and do the best in life.

No Plastic Surgeon is going to perform cosmetic surgery on a 7 year old.  Diet , exercise and your support is most important for her.  Maybe consulting with a nutritionist can help.

No plastic surgeon is going to perform liposuction on a 7 year old.  Healthy diet, daily exercise, and lifestyle modifications are the correct treatment if there are concerns with weight.  There are numerous resources at your pediatrician's office or even online to help with these problems.  Most plastic surgeons will not perform cosmetic procedures until the patient is at least 18 years old with a few rare exceptions.
