CoolSculpting is designed to treat resistant fat in areas that don’t respond to diet and exercise. Typically, these are the abdominal, hip and thigh areas, arms, and also the back around the bra-line, as well as the neck. If your hands and feet are fatty in disproportion to your body, that is highly unusual. In fact, we often need to place your own fat in the back of the hands for volume loss and aging. I’d recommend a medical evaluation to rule out an underlying condition that may be causing edema or swelling. If you’d like to contour your body or neck, then CoolSculpting is the right choice. If perhaps you have thick ankles or fatty pads along the ankle bone, then tumescent liposculpture would help that. Please find a board-certified dermatologist to take a look at your hands and feet once you get a medical OK; liposuction with mini cannulas might be a solution.
CoolSculpting is not designed to be performed on the hands and feet. It is designed to treat isolated areas of unwanted fat on the body and under the chin. Hands and feet typically do not have a lot of excess fat and I do not think any of the applicators would fit those areas.
Cool sculpting on the hands and feet isn't something I would recommend. Because fat is typically stored in the body so cool sculpting wouldn't work. however, other treatments may be suggested. Something like micro lipo I highly suggest seeing an expert that specializes in treatments. Surgical and nonsurgical body contouring, body sculpting and skin tightening.. Thank You!Dr.Jason Emer
Hello an thank you for your question. Coolsculpting is not made to treat hands and feet. The only areas Coolsculpting can treat is the chin, abdomen, inner thigh, outer thigh, knee, banana roll, flanks, arms, and bra fat. Best of luck!
atsukosmiles:CoolSculpting would not be a viable option for treating the hands or the feet.Be WellDr G
There is rarely any excess fat on these areas. Cool sculpting sucks fat into an applicator yo freeze it so you must have a pocket of fat for it to work
Hi, Coolsculpting of the hands and feet is not possible to do. For this procedure you need to be able to pinch a volume of fat to be treated. If you wish to remove fat in the hands and feet (which is an unusual request) I would suggest doing trusculpt 3D or ilipo to reduce fat in those areas, which would work well if the problem really is fat and not swelling. Best of luck Dr. Jamé

Although there is no way to know for sure, as there is no data on the topic, this steroid injection is unlikely to have an effect on your Coolsculpting results. In any event, you were wise not to compromise your health and your regular medical treatments for Coolsculpting, which, after all, is a...
It is not abnormal to experience some hard swelling after a Coolsculpting treatment. It can take a few months to see the final result after a Coolsculpting treatment. The swelling should subside in the next couple weeks and your results should be visible within the next couple of months. If you...
