Great experience! Dr Gentry administered Botox with fantastic results. So natural looking. He can even shape your brows! I can't recommend him highly enough! His staff is wonderful. Jill is so sweet & kind. Molly did a laser procedure with amazing results! After trying other places, I will be a forever patron with Dr Gentry!
I had a marvelous experience at Dr. Gentry’s office. I do not know where to begin, everyone at Enhance Aesthetics is very kind and friendly. Jill assisted me with any questions I had and made sure I was okay at all times. I had the O-Shot and will wait for about four to six weeks to write my review on the procedure.
My experience with Dr. Gentry was FANTASTIC! The procedure did not hurt & my arm pits had minimal bruising afterwards. Dr. Gentry made sure I was numb & did not experience any discomfort or pain during & after the procedure. I now have very little hair under my arms & no longer sweat! I also have not had to wear deodorant since I got miraDry. I would highly recommend this procedure, the results are well worth the money! The worst part about this procedure was holding your arms up the entire time. It's hard to hold your arms up for almost 2 hours! I was scared to get all of the injections for the anesthesics to numb my under arms, but only around 4/30 hurt & they were bearable. The actual procedure wasn't bad at all & was honestly just time consuming. There were a few times I felt small pain but as soon as I felt something weird Dr. Gentry turned the machine to a cooling mode & the pain immediately went away. My arms were fat for awhile after the procedure, which was expected since they were filled with fluids. I kept waiting for the pain to come like I had read about from other people's reviews, but it never did. I never experienced any stinging or fire feelings like I expected, nor did I have trouble sleeping. My bruising was very minimal compared to the pictures I saw of other people who had miraDry done to them. I have enjoyed not wearing deodorant and shaving under my arms everyday. If miraDry is something you are considering, Dr. Gentry will make sure you are happy with your experience & results! Also happy to answer any questions!
I do use smooth threads in upper lids to help some with volume and skin laxity. It is subtle and may take a few treatments.
I would not recommend PDO thread lifts with history of most any autoimmune disease, especially sarcoidosis. The risk of nodules and other complications is much higher in my opinion.
Without knowing exactly how the procedure was performed, I am speculating some.... It is possible that it is scar tissue but more likely a thread (or barb of a thread) that is too close to the surface. If it is the thread, it will eventually go away. The physician can also numb a small area and use a needle to try to release the skin from that thread to hasten the process.
The main difference is duration. PCL is much longer lasting than PDO threads. Otherwise, they can be used very similarly.
I would wait until you will not be sky diving for a minimum of 2-4 weeks before getting this procedure done. I have my patients eat a softer diet for 3-5 days and avoid dental procedures for 4 weeks.
