I've been coming to Dr. Jamé Heskett since 2014. At the time, I was very self conscious about these super light stretch marks I had all around the front of my abdomen area as well as side flanks. Dr. Jamé's bedside manner during my first consultation left me feeling encouraged and armed with a realistic expectation of what could be achieved with her recommended treatments. I agreed to start Carboxytherapy on those problem areas that same week. Since that time I've gone through a few rounds and I must say that there has been a remarkable improvement to the visibility of those marks, tightness of my skin and the scar tissue I developed from a partial tummy tuck surgery performed by another doctor prior to coming to her. The bottom line is that Dr. Jamé cares about her patients concerns and always aims to achieve optimal results in the safest way possible. With the oversaturation of clinics in NYC simply interested in taking your money and nothing else – I'm happy I found Wellpath!
I had been doing a lot of research on micro needling with PRP and decided to finally do it. I got so lucky by stumbling upon Dr. Heskett! From the beginning, she was super responsive via text with answering all my questions. I have slight pigmentation on my face, some sun spots and slow collagen production. I came in thinking I needed all sorts of treatments and she was so honest in saying that the micro needling with PRP would be all I needed. The fact that she didn’t try to upsell me or add on other treatments really showed she is someone with integrity. She also didn’t point out things that I didn’t deem as problem areas / didn’t make me feel like I needed to change my face, which was also very comforting. In a world where we are all concerned about our looks and can develop self esteem issues, she was very comforting to speak to. That is hard to come by in the world of cosmetology/ dermatology! I’ll definitely be going back to see her soon! Thank you Dr. Heskett.
Dr. Jamé is an absolute gem! I’ve had several eMatrix sessions with her for my acne scars and my skin has never looked better. She is not only talented in what she does, but is one of the kindest doctors I’ve ever met, has excellent bedside manners, takes her time with patients, and works closely with you to help you look and feel your best! HIGHLY recommend her, especially if you feel like you’re on an endless search for a practitioner to deliver exceptional results. You’re in the best hands with her! The easiest 5 stars I could give!
Dr. Jame is amazing. She is very up to date with all procedures and is above all: honest! She will tell you exactly what you should invest on- what procedures would work for you, what procedures will give you the best bang for your buck. It’s super customized! I have been going to her for many years and never been disappointed .
I'm so happy I found The Well Path and Dr. Jamé! She's seriously the nicest (and most informed!) wellness guru and customizes each treatment to the individual so you get plenty of personalized attention and feedback. I did the new 3-in-1 Geneo Facial and my skin has never looked better. I can't wait to try her other non-invasive, anti-aging services next!
Dr Jame Heskett and staff has the most welcoming and excellent bedside manners ive encountered. I was a little nervous and contemplating if I should get carboxy for my under eyes. But, Dr Jame put me at ease and during the treatment, she provided me with a stress relief ball that helped tremendously. She has a gentle and calming nature. Lindsey is also just as amazing. I give this practice 10/10.
I am so happy I found out about carboxytherapy treatment for stretch marks!!! It is the best treatment out there for stretch marks!! have been doing such long research for what is good, and I only recently heard about this and it’s a shame.. because it is really what works and you don’t have to pay $$$$ for lasers that everybody is trying to sell. I saw results already after first treatment , I did 7 procedures so far a week apart and my stretch marks improved prob by 70%. My only regret that I haven’t done it earlier!!!
Dr. Heskett was extremely thorough in improving the tired and aging look of my face overall and especially great at filling the deep lines between my brows. I was particularly impressed by how she approached each task erring on the side of caution with incremental improvements. She knew exactly when enough was enough on a given day. As a novice to the process, I really appreciated this, plus her willingness to spend the time necessary to get it right. You quickly sense Dr. Heskett is experienced at what she does. The facials, too, are excellent, and her customer service second to none!
Thermiva with Dr Jame was a miracle. It astounds me that every person who bears a child isn’t told about the wonders of Thermiva. Like, it must be a patriarchal conspiracy. Truly. I’ve been waking up to pee since the birth of my first kid, years ago, and after my second, it was literally every single night. I tried Thermiva to tighten things up for sex, and that impact has been wonderful, but I was totally shocked to realize that after just one session, I no longer wake up to pee in middle of the night. It’s wonderous. And Dr Jame is amazing—really kind, totally focused, and so approachable.
I made an appointment with Dr. Heskett for microneedling and I was extremely nervous. I'm so happy that I didn't back out though because my skin looks better than it has in 20 years. Was it painful? Nope! She made sure I was comfortable with numbing cream. Downtime? Maybe a little but not bad - just a little pink for a couple of days with the masks and balm she gave me...that’s it. 100% recommended.
Hi I would focus on wearing good sunscreen, and using a retinol in the winter time. Get regular facials or peels to stimulate cellular turnover. I don’t think that spending money on IPL is going to be a worthwhile choice right now. If you see a spot come out….You can always ask for it to be treated as a “spot treatment” and see if they will give you a discounted rate since they are only going to discharge their device once or twice and take up a 15 min time slot at the most.
Hi, I’m sorry you have had this experience. This is not a normal result of microneedling by someone with experience using a quality needling device. If this was done with a roller, a roller will rip the skin instead of puncture it and that can damage the delicate facial skin. Perhaps the depth setting for the needling device was not set properly, or that the technique used was not proper for facial rejuvenation. The goal is to puncture the skin, not tear it and to allow rejuvenating solutions to penetrate the skin to assist in healing. Microneedling isn’t really a great choice for someone with perfect skin who wants to prevent wrinkles, It is best to correct damage and rejuvenate aging skin. Better to do good skin care, peels, facials that stimulate circulation, cellular turnover and collagen production. I hope that this resolves for you All the best Dr. Heskett
Hi, Hyperpigmentation is caused by inflammation stimulating the melanocytes in your skin. This is not a normal outcome of microneedling but of a proceedure that created excess inflammation in your skin. Perhaps the settings were not appropriate for your skin or a roller was used or possibly the solution of liquid that was used during the proceedure was one that reacted with your skin. It is hard to know, but for sure under circumstances that microneedling is performed by someone with experience and training, this should not be the outcome. I hope this resolves for you. All the best Dr. Heskett
Hi This should not happen with microneedling done by someone with experience. Was the needling done with a roller? If so, a roller can rip the skin as the needles do not go in and out of the skin at a 90 degree angle but rather flip out of the skin as the roller rotates. Perhaps the person used a depth setting that was too deep and or over punctured the area. It’s hard to know, except that this is not a normal outcome of microneedling with a pen device that is operated by someone who is experienced and well trained. I hope you get some resolution to this. All the best, Dr. Jamé
Hi, the best approach to this scar is to use carboxy therapy. Carboxy therapy is the injection of medical grade CO2. The CO2 restarts the healing process that has stopped and left you with a scar. The scar is injected weekly for 4 weeks and then twice a month until the improvement reaches a plateau. The result will be a shrinking or narrowing of the scar, a filling in of the scar if there is a defect and repigmentation or lightening of hyperpigmentation. You can expect at least 50% improvement in the scar and I would expect to do 10-15 sessions.
