Hi and thanks for this question. Restylane (and all the other dermal fillers too) can become a little bumpy. Since it's been 6 months, I think you should consider a medication to dissolve it. If you feel it's not improving then consider seeing your injector. The Restylane HA can be reversed with an injectable enzyme. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO
Thank you for your question. Having lumps 6 months after Restylane is usually the result of poor product placement. Massaging them will not help. You will need to have the lumps dissolved with an enzyme known as hyaluronidase. If you have lumps immediately after injection then you can massage them. Please make sure you are going to expert injector to help avoid any complications in the future. Best of Luck!
I am surprise that you feel lumps now and did not a week or so after your injection. It the lumps are filler, then massage will not help. Hyaluronidase can dissolve it, if it is filler.
If you have lumps six months after Restylane massage will not help. You will most likely want to have these lumps removed with Hyaluronidase to dissolve the unwanted filler. If there are lumps immediately after your injections, these can be massaged and iced and will go away. Please consult an expert in Restylane to avoid having these types of lumps months after the injections. It is usually a result or poor product placement. Best, Dr. Green
Yes you can mold Restylane particularly in the under eye area. If you do it daily it should reposition more permanently. If you feel that it isn't working a small amount of vitrase should take care of it. Good luck.
This is most likely swelling. Few hours after the injection, you really can't tell what will be the final results. There is a recovery period that the nurse should have worn you about. you have to be patient and wait at least for one week.
It is unlikely that filler injections caused an acne breakout, it is probably a coincidence. Breakouts can be caused by a number of factors, including hormones. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist for treatment for active acne including skin care, peels, lasers,...
Thanks for your question and as always we recommend that these injections be given in the offices of board certified dermatologists or plastic surgeons as we are the true experts in filler injections. Swelling, as you know, does occur and is not uncommon after lip injections. You need to wait ...
