Procedures I'm known for

Eyelid Enhancement
Eyelid lift surgery, or blepharoplasty, ranks as one of the most requested cosmetic surgeries at our practice in the Washington D.C. metro area. Patients seeking eyelid lift surgery may want to repair a functional problem or to improve cosmetic issues, such as undereye bags, fatty pockets, or loose skin. I typically recommend eyelid lift surgery for patients if their upper eyelids sag or droop enough to interfere with their vision, if their upper and lower lids show accumulated fatty pockets, if their lower lids have pouches or bags, or if their lower lids have developed loose skin and wrinkles. As a board-certified ophthalmologist and a specialist in oculofacial plastic surgery, I understand the intricacies of the musculature and underlying structures of the eye area and will help you find the right surgical approach.
Fillers and Other Injectables
Sometimes a nonsurgical solution works best to reverse the signs of aging. At our Washington D.C. metropolitan-area practice, my patients appreciate the subtle results of dermal fillers and injectables. Fillers are used to restore volume to the skin. One of the most popular fillers, Restylane, is made of dissolvable hyaluronic acid. It’s ideal for correcting moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). It can even be used for lip enhancement. I also frequently use Botox and Dysport to relax wrinkles. In the quest for a youthful appearance, don’t overlook the importance of hand rejuvenation. Radiesse is a dermal filler that’s FDA-approved to restore volume and diminish wrinkles on hands.
