Having an abdominoplasty after liposuction can be complicated. The scarring after the initial round of liposuction make it very challenging to mobilize the anterior abdominal wall/skin fat as it usually does not stretch. This requires a surgeon to feel your tissues and perform a full physical exam to be able to determine the best options. I would likely recommend just a full abdominoplasty depending on the compliance of your abdominal tissues.
Thank you for your question and pictures. Yes, it is possible for you to get a mini Tummy Tuck with liposuction for better results. If you're willing to travel, Surgeons in the Dominican Republic have experience and very high standard of excellence when it comes to plastic surgery. I'm positive you can get what you're looking for.
Dear Loving928426,it depends on your skin laxity for which I would need to examine you. In general, liposuction does not help with skin laxity and a tummy tuck is the best option in this scenario. A mini tummy tuck can work great for laxity below the umbilicus but generally does not improve the area above the belly button.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Based on the apparent skin laxity of the upper and lower abdomen you would better be served with a full tummy tuck but you will likely require an additional vertical incision due to the limited amounts of overall skin excess.
An in person consultation is always best, but from the photos you submitted it appears you may have better results from a standard tummy tuck. This would more fully address skin laxity as well as correct any diastasis. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation to learn more.
A minituck will not address the issue for excess skin above your belly button. an exmination is needed to see if that excess is mainly fat or skin. If it is fat, liposuction will be helpful and skin can be tightened with minimally invasive treatment like ThermiTight. If it is skin, a full tummy tuck would be best.
NO!!!!! You need full TT with muscle repair and in Florida can ONLY lipo 1 liter in combination with TT. Best you ask your BBL surgeon or whatever surgeon you plan on using to explain the rules in office surgery in Florida. Best to use ONLY private practice boarded Plastic Surgeon from ABPS.org Fee from $10,000-$20,000.
Because your upper abdominal skin doesn't appear loose, a mini is definitely an option. If there is any muscle separation then consider a mini with umbilical float. That would allow full access for repair without an external scar on the belly button.

Thank you for sharing your question. Unfortunately I do not think a full or mini tummy tuck will prevent future bloating or abdominal distension as this is an intestinal issue, not a muscular wall or skin issue. Hope this helps.
