Hi, thanks for your question. Please discuss this with your surgeon as they will have their own post-operative guidelines that should be carefully followed. You will want to give your body ample time to recover following your surgery, as the Covid vaccine can carry some side effects for a couple of days after.
Hello @Philosophical359037 I appreciate your question. It something that depends on your doctors instructions. I recommend my patients to have the vaccine 3 to 4 weeks after the surgery. Best wishes!
Dear Philosophical359037,every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
This question is best answered by your surgeon as opinions may vary. Your surgeon is most familiar with the details of your surgery and medical background, in addition to how you've been progressing through recovery.
Since surgery requires healing and your immune system in good shape, I would suggest waiting at least 2 months to 3 before getting any vaccine. Please do not take it at the same time.
There is no written information to my knowledge of needing to postpone vaccination because of cosmetic surgery. Considering we’ve had almost 5,000,000 people die of this disease in less than two years I would not wait and get vaccinated ASAP regardless of when your surgery is or was scheduled. Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
You h ave great quality skin. I would recommend likely just abdominal liposuction I would highly recommend seeing a board eligible or board certified plastic surgeon for a physical exam and accurate analysis with safe recommendations for potential surgical options. Best of luck!

Thank you for sharing your question. Unfortunately I do not think a full or mini tummy tuck will prevent future bloating or abdominal distension as this is an intestinal issue, not a muscular wall or skin issue. Hope this helps.
Thank you very much for your question, the excess skin that you have in the abdomen is abundant, and the procedure that I recommend to you is a complete tummytuck, because your abdominal skin fold is from each iliac crest, and with a mini it is not enough, additionally we must correct the...
Would recommend that you consider a short scar TT (The shorter scar it leaves is the same length as that of the mini TT) tightens the muscles, and removes skin and fat. The incision is so low, almost to the level of the leg crease, that bikinis may be worn afterwards. It creates a scar which is...
