Im 5'2", 108lbs not a lot of loose skin but originally wanted full abdominoplasty and have met a few board certified plastic surgeons and was told mini was better for me with liposuction to abdomen and back. Im worried I will wish I did the full tummy tuck after and dont want to have any regrets. Should I continue with plan for mini or opt for full?
Answer: Will I benefit from mini tummy tuck? (photos) Thank you for your question and series of photographs. Nothing replaces an in-person examination, but I think you would most benefit from a full tummy tuck and liposuction of your waist and flanks. The tummy tuck will tighten your stomach muscles, helping to achieve a flatter appearance, while removing excess skin and adipose tissue. I would favor the full approach because it appears that your skin and muscle laxity is present above and below your belly button. Hope that this helps

Answer: Mini tummy tuck An in person evaluation is needed to know for sure but based on your photos it appears you are a candidate for a mini tummy tuck. Liposuction could be added for additional contouring. It does not appear from your photos that you have much skin laxity on your upper abdomen, so a mini tummy tuck should give you nice results.

Answer: Go for the mini tummy tuck Because your upper abdominal skin doesn't appear loose, a mini is definitely an option. If there is any muscle separation then consider a mini with umbilical float. That would allow full access for repair without an external scar on the belly button.

Answer: Will I benefit from mini tummy tuck? Hello @Jd486856 thank you for your question and showing your pictures. I will also suggest a mini tummy tuck with liposculture that enhance the shape of your body. Because a tummy tuck would be to aggressive for your case. Why risk a bigger scar if you could achieve your goal with minimal scarring and a less invasive procedure. Besides, there are four variables all potentially contribute to the look of the abdomen. In order they are skin laxity, excess subcutaneous fat, diastasis recti and excess visceral or intra-abdominal fat. Skin laxity and Diastasis recti are treated with a full tummy tuck. I hope this solve your doubts. Best Wishes!!

Answer: Minituck Just based on your photos, I think a minituck will work well for you since your fullness is mainly below the belly button. This can be tightened and brought in flatter.
