I would recommend you not use this. Arnica is an herbal that is very good. Eating pineapple also helps. I would recommend you discuss with your surgeon her/his recommendations.
Hello,Thank you for your question. I advise homeopathic Arnica pellets and topical Arnica gel to help reduce swelling and bruising. I'm not aware of any benefit to apple cider vinegar in relation to bruising. Ask you plastic surgeon what they recommend for you. All the best
Thank you for your question and congratulations on your recent body contouring procedure! In my experience there has been no scientific evidence to support the topical use of apple cider vinegar to aide in the dissipation of bruising post-operatively. There are however oral supplements such as Arnica and Bromelain that have been successful at reducing post-operative swelling and inflammation. Please discuss use of any oral or topical products with your board certified plastic surgeon before starting. I hope this helps!
The use of apple cider vinegar to improve the resolution of bruising is anecdotal, and hasn't yet really been studied scientifically. While I don't think it would do you any harm, it's best to check with your operating surgeon to see if they have any objections.
Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. I recommend you to follow only your doctors instructions, it is very delicate to use different substance on your incision. Good luck :)
Thank you for posting your interesting question. I would recommend Arnica Montana which are small pellets that you place under your tongue and can be purchased at the health food store. Bromelain, which is an enzyme found in pineapple, can help reduce post operative swelling. Arnica Montana and Bromelain are much more effective than apple cider vinegar following liposuction. Best wishes, Richard Wellington Swift, M.D.
Hello,Dry skin is common when tissue is inflamed and stretched. My patients can use whatever lotions they choose however I do advise they take care to avoid applying it near the steri strips/incision which could loosen them. Ask your plastic surgeon what they recommend for you. All the best
Hello,The lump you feel may be related to fat necrosis but may also be related to swelling and contour irregularities related to liposuction. I recommend that you see your plastic surgeon in person for an exam and recommendations. All the best
Allow more like 6 months or even more to assess your final result. you can have swelling during the healing phase. be patient and watch your dieting etc. try not to be too critical, so early on.hang in there.david berman md
