I had voluma injected into my cheeks over a year and a half ago, & there were two dimples and discoloration at injection needle site. I went back a few months later and she told me there weren't any dimples (they were NOT there before). Clearly, but she offered to inject with restalyne to try to help... a year later and the Dimples are back and worse than before. Does anyone know what may have caused this? Another doctor suggested maybe she used an off the market product & not voluma at all :(

Thank you for your question. Voluma is a very good filler for your cheeks and midface. It is a bit of a larger molecule, so it is usually placed deeper in the skin, (subdermal). The sales people will tell you it lasts about 2 years. In our experience it last about a year and a half. As far ...
Voluma doesn't move or migrate once it has settled. You are probably just swollen. Which is completely normal. Things should improve over the next 2 weeks. If they don't or if things get worse then see your surgeon.
