Please view the picture. I read that it's not allowed to wear metal (piercings) during a surgery, because cautery is used to stop bleeding and apparently the piercings could cause metal burns, if they're not removed. I have a surface piercing, with a 90 degree titanium bar under my skin. It's impossible to put the piercing back in after removal. So I was wondering, could I keep it in during my rhinoplasty, and put some tape over it? Or do I have to remove it?
