Yes you appear to be a very good candidate for rhinoplasty to refine the nasal tip. You might also consider alarplasty to reduce the width of the nostrils to ensure the new nose shape is proportionate and aesthetically pleasing. Keep in mind that rhinoplasty is one of the most complex of all plastic surgery procedures. To ensure an optimal outcome, make sure you select a very experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who has the intimate knowledge of facial anatomy and the expertise in technique.

I agree that your tip is over powering the rest of your nose. It looks like the mid portion of your nose might be fine but your profile needs to be reviewed with your consultation. You might need to consider narrowing the nostrils because once the tip becomes more narrow, the nostrils and base of the nose might then look too wide. Good luck.

My best advice is that you discuss your concerns and aesthetic goals with a board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in performing rhinoplasty. When treating one element of the nose, all aspects of the nose must be addressed - in order to achieve the best result. Dear Manisha22, Thank you for your question. I agree with you that you do have a bulbous tip and a degree of flaring of the nostrils that seems to overpower the rest of your nose. The shape of the tip of your nose can certainly be improved with a tip rhinoplasty and a degree of alar reduction, in order to create a nose with more pleasing proportions. It would however be more appropriate to be seen in consultation so that your whole face and nose can be assessed in order to formulate a management plan that best suit your needs.

Your nose is wide and amorphous and can be improved by Rhinoplasty ,you seems to have a thicker skin which makes Rhinoplasty more difficult ,the down time is modern Rhinoplasty is not much ,most of the gross swelling subsides in 3 to 4 weeks ,but the micro edema takes time to settle,(more so in thicker skin patients) may take up to year to settle

My comendation by far will definetly be having a closed rhinoplasty, working on your lower lateral cartilage and the tip as well. Reduction of the tip and alar part of the nose.
