I have an injury on my nose for years and I don’t like it but I was wondering how I can get rid of the oil on my nose if it is possible. Help me any advice to make it look better? If I need to to get a nose job how much would it cost? Would my insurance help me by any chance?

I would advice you to visit a local Surgeon in your area for examination and check up for best Recommendation. Most Insurance do not pay for cosmetic procedures.

The upper portion of the structure of the nose is bone, and the lower portion is cartilage. Rhinoplasty can change bone, cartilage, skin or all three. Talk with your surgeon about whether rhinoplasty is appropriate for you and what it can achieve.

A rhinoplasty procedure will not change the oil production in the sebaceous skin and the tip  of the nose.  Much more information is needed such as a full set of facial photographs from all angles. A closed rhinoplasty approach to accomplish shaving down the dorsal hump.  Cosmetic nasal surgery is not covered by medical insurance.
