The contour on the left side of your nasal bridge is generated by the shape of the cartilage. If this has occurred after surgery, it can also be that the nasal bone is further away from the septum creating an open roof situation only on the left side.

Correction of the problem will require adjustment in the position of the nasal wall either for the bone or for the cartilage or both.

It is most likely the edge of your nasal bone. At first though it looked like a cartilage graft. However this is not possible if you have not already had surgery. Neither is related to your deviated septum.

That "bump" is most likely a ridge over the lateral aspect of your left nasal bone. It can be easily rasped down under local or twilight anesthesia. Or it could be performed in a bigger operation at which time a deviated septum is corrected.

That’s your natural basal cartilage that makes up part of the nasal bridge. The nasal bridge is mostly cartilage, not bone. If you underwent a rhinoplasty, that point would be shaved down.

Hello, thanks for your question. Based on your photos, this sharp nasal hump can contain bone tissue. There is a region in dorsal part of the nose, that’s name is key stone region. In this place there is junction with cartilage and bone. Most of the nose hump appear in this part of the nose. Your nasal deviation is also contribute for occuring of this sharp hump. Because of your nasal deviation, this sharp nasal hump is seen only one side of your nose. With rhinoplasty and fixing of deviation, this problem can be solved. I recommed ultrasonic rhinoplasty for your nose to reshape nasal bone and to remove the hump. Ultrasonic rhinoplasty means ultrasonic device (piezo) is used for reshaping and cutting the bone. This device effects only bone tissue and does not give harmp to soft tissue so it enhace the healing process, decreases the swelling and bruising.

It is bony in the upper part of this sharp ridge and in the lower part can be a mixture of bone and cartilage. Rhinoplasty can get ridge of this ridge.

Rhinoplasty is frequently performed in combination with Septoplasty (called Septorhinoplasty) to correct a deviated nasal septum (the cartilage in the nose that separates the nostrils) causing a blocked nose and/or to harvest septal cartilage and use it as a graft to improve nasal support or shape.

Therefore, it is best to have both the sharp ridge and deviated septum corrected simultaneously. Having a Septoplasty alone can make a future Rhinoplasty technically more difficult and possibly more costly.

This is likely due to a deformity of the nasal bones and upper lateral cartilages. It’s usually seen in a traumatic nasal injury, and consistent with a deviated septum, but feasibly could have developed due to other causes. This is Likely correctable.
