What is the procedure for a seroma to be treated and procedure for implant removal?

Thank you for your question.  If your implant was infected.then removal was the appropriate procedure.  Discuss plans for future replacement with your surgeon.

I am a bit confused.  Was there a drain placed after the implant was removed??  If not, there is a very high likelihood that you will have a seroma.  The seroma then would need manual drainage on a daily basis and antibiotics.

Not being your surgeon and knowing the full details. The decision to remove the implant is your surgeon's and yours.  If it was removed, you will have to wait a few months to have it replaced. But you have rippling, and you will need either strattice or fat grafting

Implants should always come out when there is an infection that involved the implant (exposed implant).  They can come out when patients no longer desire them as well.  Do allow yourself to completely heal before having them put back and if your capsule is easy to remove, that may be indicated as well.

From the brief history you may have had an infection of the breast implant. When breast implants are infected, the implants need to be removed as soon as possible. Preferably to remove the capsule as well. Let all heal and after 6 months would consider putting a new implant.based on the pictures posted, you would get a good result with well placed implants that's are sized based on measurements of the patient.

The peer reviewed literature recommends total capsulectomy in order to avoid complications later (or sooner).
