I had a wonderful experience with having my 20+ year old breast implants removed with Dr. Mary Gingrass ten months ago. I had a capsular contraction on one side, and she performed a complete capsulectomy on both sides. She also did a small fat transfer to improve my results. I am so happy with how I look and feel! I feel more youthful and more athletic, and it's amazing to be so comfortable jogging and lying on my stomach again. Although implants gave me a lot of confidence in my 30's, in my 50's I'm happy to be returning to my natural self. Full circle... And Dr. Gingrass, nurse Tina and scheduler Carlene took care of me completely all the way through the process. I am absolutely delighted with the care I received and my results. Lisa B.D.
I have been unhappy with my upper thighs all of my adult life. I contemplated liposuction for several years and finally decided to do it before my 50th birthday. Dr. Gingrass was my third consultation with various plastic surgeons, and I immediately knew I would choose her to perform my surgery. She explained that lipo would not give me the results I wanted and in fact I needed a leg lift. Although a more major surgery than I hoped, she was honest, upfront and very empathetic. She and her entire staff treated me with kindness, compassion and professionalism. They set my mind at ease, and I am so happy with my results. Not only am I happy with the results of the surgery, but I've also gained confidence I never had. If I ever have another procedure, I will never look any further than Dr. Gingrass.
I got my consult a year before my surgery and everything was as smooth and it could be. The quote at my consult was the exact price I paid a year later. Dr. Gingrass was very helpful in answering questions, had great bedside manner and overal my experience was wonderful. I am so glad I choose her to do my breast augmentation! I would 100% use her again in the future.
I had been researching labiaplasty for 10+ years and landed on The Plastic Surgery Center of Nashville. I live in another state but couldn’t be more pleased with my whole experience! I LOVE my results
Dr Gingrass is amazing. I am loving my results and so thankful I went with her. I have been most impressed with her honesty and aftercare. I am a thicker lady and gained over 120 pounds with 2 pregnancies. I couldn't be happier with my results!
I am so happy I chose Dr. Gingrass for my surgery. She is amazing! I am 2 months post op from my breast implant exchange and liposuction of abs and flanks and I could not be happier with the results. The whole experience from consultation to follow up has been a pleasure. All of the office and hospital staff are welcoming, caring and made me feel comfortable and confident. It was so easy to talk with Dr. Gingrass. I felt she really understood what my expectations were and my results are even better than I expected. The surgery went smoothly and the recovery was much easier than I anticipated. I am so thrilled with my results and would 100% have Dr. Gingrass perform any procedures I get in the future. I highly recommend!
Dr. Gingrass is amazing! She and her staff are always friendly and welcoming. I appreciate Dr. Gingrass always being upfront and honest in order to help you make the right decision. I highly recommend Dr. Gingrass!
Mary Gingrass was amazing! I love her to death, she changed my life! I don't know what I would have done IF it wasn't for her! She is amazing! She has the best personality and just an overall great doctor! Thank you for everything!
Dr Gingrass was simply amazing. From the consultation to post op the care and support she has provided has been top notch. I love the results of my Mommy Makeover, chin lipo and implant. My entire life, I had a double chin, it didn't matter if I weighed 100 lbs or 160 lbs at 5'10", I still had a double chin. I hated having my picture taken. Between having severe asymmetric breast and the loose skin after having two kids left me uncomfortable being naked or even in a bathing suit. I feel confidence in my body that I have never felt before.
There couldn't have been a more perfect surgeon than Dr. Gingrass!!! I had the best experience of my life and the only regret is not getting it done sooner. Everything from my first appointment to surgery and after has been the most TOP NOTCH experience!!! I am BEYOND ECSTATIC with my brand new breasts! The greatest part was how understanding Dr. Gingrass was and how eloquently she explained each detail of what I wanted and she did not just do exactly that, but she exceeded every expectation I had! I knew from the moment I met Doctor Gingrass that I didn't need to look any further for any other surgeon. She is truly the best of the best. When trying on the implants I tried a smaller size and a bigger size and my concern was not wanting to be in your face boob job look, but I wanted to feel like a more enhanced version of myself with beautiful fuller breasts and cleavage without having to put on a bra to accomplish that and Dr. Gingrass after seeing me try on both implant sizes said with my explanations of what I wanted that we should go bigger and she couldn't have made a better choice!!! It's about a month after surgery and my breasts already are feeling so natural and look better every day. I never thought I could ever be this confident and happy in my skin! Girls, don't hesitate in making your decision. Communication is key and Dr. Gingrass is a master communicator to get you EXACTLY the results you desire!
I would definitely recommend a lift! You have bilateral ptosis with downward facing nipples, significant assymmetry, enlarged puffy nipple areola complexes and lack of upper pole volume, all of which will be improved with Aug/pexy. An implant alone will leave you with fuller breast, more asymmetric nipple position, larger areolae, persistent point breast and puffy nipples. I would talk to your surgeon about the periareolar mastopexy. It has pluses and minuses. Plus being that there is no verticle scar. Minuses being that the circular stitch around the areola (which is what allows it to be reduced in size) is usually palpable forever (it is a permenant stitch) and some women still have puffy areolae when breast is warm. I don’t disagree with it but there are shortcomings. It kind of flattens the breast. The alternative is verticle (lollipop scar) which eliminates the periareolar permenant stitch and doesn’t flatten the breast as much, but has more scar. .
A ruptured silicone or sailing implant will not change the size of your native breast. That being said, if you have a saline implant that is ruptured, you will notice a decrease in the size of your breast as the saline is absorbed by your body. If you have a ruptured silicone implant then you will probably not notice any change in the size of your breast. The silicone will stay within the capsule, which is the thin layer of scar tissue that surrounds any breast implant, whether saline or silicone. Saline can escape through the capsule, which is why a ruptured saline implant gets smaller when it is leaking. Hope this helps Try getting a virtual consultation and you may be able to get on the schedule more quickly once things open up in your state. stay safe.
Good question I think you are a great candidate for a breast augmentation. Your nipple areola complex (the nipple itself plus the surrounding darker colored skin) is a little bit enlarged for the size of your breast right now. The Nipple Areola Complex (NAC) diameter can be reduced relatively easily, but it will “cost you” a scar all the way around the NAC. I think this needs to be decided once you have settled on your desired implant size. Good luck on your journey.
I think you can rest assured that your breasts will look plenary “fake”! And the difference between 650 and 700 is negligible. Also don’t forget that “the bigger they are...the harder they fall”!
It is way too early to panic about size. You actually chose pretty large implants for your frame! It does not look like your body would have been able to handle much larger anyway. Please sit tight and let the surgical swelling go down, allow your skin to stretch, and thenimplants to “settle”. The pec muscle is very swollen now and distorts the result. I always tell my patients that your breasts will look like “two weird headlights” for a while. Be patient.
